We can safely assume that Man City wouldn't have beaten us 6-0

We'd have had to not shit our pants and come out of our own half occasionally for that to happen

Thought Burnley looked decent and made a good account of themselves in the first half before Haaland scored. Then it was game over

City just stepped up the class.

Don’t get why we’d really be cheering City on though, Burnley have blown the rest of the league away with consistency in the Championship. But against City they just couldn’t compete beyond 30 mins. Frightening really but they won’t get done like this every week in the Premier League.
 



To go up you need to play attacking football but when you get to the Premiership you know on the whole that with better bigger teams that you’re going to get a thrashing so Man City are playing this seasons Burnley but next seasons version could be far more defensive and the score would probably be 3-0

i fancy us to give them a right game at the riverside. looking forward to it. hopefully we can beat udders on the 1st then put on a show and beat burnley on the 7th. if we do, it will be an amazing run in after that. if we lose and you win one week again i think its practically yours. we cant really afford another slip up until we are above you or within a point or two. probably going t ogo down to the wire isnt it.
 
City won't cope with our superior ability. We won't play as high up as Burnley did which let in their pacy players . We will bore them to submission
 
I was saddened and felt no small measure of guilt at seeing the smiling, happy faces of the celebrating Manchester City players, because they have no idea that we're going to fucking crush them right after we've skullfucked Blackburn into oblivion.

Gotta say I don't really understand why any Blade would be happy to see them get hammered. It's not like their position isn't justified, they're all but promoted and there's no real consequence here. To be honest bigger and better teams have gone up against the new age City and had just as big of a battering, can't say there's any shame in it.

I guess the only negative for them could be that they have just had a glimpse of what they're up against next season and that could knock their confidence. They're so far ahead of us points wise I don't even consider catching them I'm more concerned about the teams below us rather than the one above us.

If we do a double over them though this season that would be incredible for the players confidence
