Some good questions asked there in the interview, think the poker face regarding the frustration of all the behind the scenes shenanigans is now wearing thin .
Thing that concerns me is the references to mental fatigue.. we’ve got the most experienced squad of all the teams around us & you’d expect we’d be handling things better ? ⚔️

The prince effectively washed his hands of us at the same time that the Newcastle sale went through.

That was either down to him becoming potless at the same time, or he has been told in no uncertain terms that he must not own a rival PL club. That can either be achieved by selling us, or keeping us down.

I am not normally one for conspiracies, but it also seems beyond a coincidence.

PH has done such an amazing job to manage the side through this complete shitshow, but his talent will only go so far, and if the players are indeed worrying about what happens next, it's hardly going to focus their minds on the games.
If that were true he would have sold Berge & Ndiaye on deadline day & pocketed the money

According to credible ITK's, he was trying to do just that, but Dozy stepped in and made keeping them a condition of the takeover.

Professional footballers who need a new contract will give their best to impress generally, especially when we are on tv so much
As Fleck said the lack of a contract does not affect how they play. The current contract will no doubt give them a decent bonus for promotion.
It is disingenuous to suggest they are not giving their all in matches.
I've never understood all this speculation that not having a contract affects motivation or that players don't want to get a promotion as they will be replaced. It makes no sense. Players want to win because that improves their own CV. Having comfy contracts might suit some players but will make others lazy.

PH needs to motivate the team in whatever circumstances and has so far done very well at that

I've just started a new crime novel. Very police procedural, but quite gripping as well. Keeps me out of trouble
Too true squire. I do like a cracking whodunnit...but not the old stuff.. If you're looking for a new author try Neal Hardin. His stuff is on Amazon.. He's not bad and the books aren't as thick as bricks and don't go on forever and forever.
