Apart from the supposed glamour of a Premier League team visiting town, it's actually a pretty shit draw.

Of the 15 teams we could have drawn, we've ended up, at home yes, but to the team ranked 3rd in terms of those that are left in.

So there were 12 easier draws in the offing we could have had.

The main ray of hope if that we may have, depending on who we pick, a central midfield with a greater knowhow than theirs.

If fro example they picked the two young lads in Sarr and Skipp, it's conceivable that if they are 'on it', that Norwood, Berge and say Fleck, would win the midfield battle and dictate the game more.

On one hand you expect Spurs to but up for it and Uber professional.

On the other, they are missing Conte, missing experience in the middle of the park and may rest one or two taking it lightly.

Anyway que sera, sera!

Let's just get the job done, and focus on the next round. Man City or Man Utd.

Game day, early finish and triple point. The lane will be crackling with expectation of a thrilling encounter, occasionally breaking out in to a golf clap. WIZZZAAAAAARRRRDDDDDSSSSS

People that belittle Kane's achievements because he hasn't won a trophy are a bit odd.

Apparently loyalty is meaningless in football these days. Its all about the trophies.

I wonder in 10yrs time how many people will talk about Fabian Delphs trophies for Man City compared to Kane's myriad of goal scoring records.

Top player. Underrated in his ability to drop a bit deeper and link play. Some of his passing is sublime. Still think he's a bit behind Mcburnie though.

It's an Internet trope, along with Lads, it's Tottenham and St Totteringham Day.

God forbid you ever have anything serious to worry about.

Why does this game matter? we don’t need it
I’m more concerned about injuries and recovery time for Blackburn n Reading
Last thing we need is 2 hours plus penalties

It's 15 year olds in their bedrooms posting for 'likes'. Yawn.

I just hope Spurs are as shit as Leicester and we might have half a chance.

Dont forget Blackburn played against Leicester last night so they have 24hrs more but still had a cup tie to play in. They beat Leicester. Gulp.

We are nothing if not inconsistent. Beat City, the mockneys and the racists but lose 4-1 to Leicester and 2-0 at home to Villa etc.

We should win but this is definitely not a 'Gimme' we could easily come unstuck.
I think both teams will be a few players down on their 'strongest' 11 so will be interesting to see whose reserves fancy it the most.

"Adele's prediction: It was a shame that Sheffield United knocked out Wrexham"

Oh fuck right the fuck off, then keep fucking off, then when you get there, fuck off a bit more.

I enjoyed the Wrexham thing on Disney+, but I'm sick of them now. Has any fanbase ever used a word more than the pigs use "massive?" Yes...Wrexham and "rattled."

I think we will get beat 3-0 or 3-1 with the likely weakened team we will field .

Not going to complain about that as we have two vastly more important games coming up in the next week. If we were in Burnley’s position we could afford to put our strongest side out but we aren’t so we shouldn’t.

Fuck it...go for it! They'll probably rest a few of their big-hitters (at the start at least) so we might as well have a proper go at them. Play our strongest side, and if we're getting battered after 60 mins, take a few key players off.

If we could pull off an upset, we're 1 game from Wembley. I'd love another day out there that isn't in the playoffs. I think we'e got enough in the tank already to hold off the smoggies even with a cup run.

Hopefully will be an entertaining game with lots of action and goals.
I think both teams will make at least 3-4 changes to the weekend line ups. And then see how the game plays out.

Absolutely freezing out, let’s hope Spurs don’t fancy a ”Cold evening ooop North”
