My plea to Sinclair on days like Saturday is to give it a minute before blasting Status Quo. I kinda get it when we’re not making much noise, but yesterday I think they’d have got a raucous ovation from fans actually singing
Also with status quo, I wish they'd only do the first few seconds and then let the crowd sing our version. Playing it all just kills it.

We tried to stir it up at the back of F, but it is difficult to get anyone to join in.
The guy that sits next to me, well, hes about as active, as a hibernating hedgehog!
its strange and baffling bb went in blut for hull and udders games and was same crap atmosphere up there anall about 20 or 30 tried to get things going but nothing at all from the other 3k up there why have our fans become so reserved since covid only thing i can think of is the style of football we play maybe its just not exciting enough for the majority of fans or maybe a hangover from the chris wilder days 🤔

Or maybe they're miserable cunts?
Its strange, but, I think its more down to the fact, that fans are aging, and that they sit where they've always sat, and that puts these small pockets in areas where you'd like to get it going?
Its difficult, and it also means, new fans, can't get tickets in or around the noise making areas, as your finding with the BLUT, you get the view, but not the atmosphere, I like it where we are, as we get both, but its still the same old faces sat with their bag of sweets and flask of drink, wrapped up with legs crossed, scowling at people trying to enjoy the day.
Get yourselves over to the South, always the odd few empty seats dotted around F & G👍

Was a good atmosphere for what was a very ordinary performance..

Credit to the fans, on all sides, and over the moon with 3 points..

Fleck was great, just what we need for the run in..

I think a lot of people's mentality is different these days. Internet / Amazon era, expect exactly what they want, Now, Delivered on a plate.

John St near away fans was decent. Always plenty of banter with away fans.

Watford were poor the only song the sang was "shall we sing a song for you"

Then proceeded to not sing.

Maybe it was my daughter shouting now to the song 🤣🤣🤣

Thought crowd were in good form yesterday. We are apprehensive and players are. Work through it together and we’ll be ok.

absolutely nailed it with that post bb im not a season ticket holder so am going to try and get in f and g tc stand for a couple of games its more like the atmosphere i grew up with on the kop mind do agree with another poster i think this not selling matchday tickets on the kop is hurting the atmosphere on there

Agreed, unfortunately though, until the thick bellends that have caused it, and acknowledge that they are the root cause, which they're to stupid to do, I don't see anything changing.

Always a couple of empty seats round us, depending on how many of you are visiting on that particular day.

This is definitely the problem on the kop - people have had the same seats for years, used to sing but don’t want to anymore. Few clubs would have fans happy to sit where we insist on sitting.

It’s not tackling this that has led to the problems on the kop. Any newcomers who care have to congregate in the most inconvenient corner.

g and h were the only ones singing today heard kop about 3 times in 2nd half from john st not a peep in first half

The loudest song of the day was started in G&H. The Kop joined in just after. A noisy John Street explains one thing though. The pigeons flying all over. They’re normally snoozing peacefully around there………..

if you can cross your legs on the Kop you must be about 4'7" UTB

100% this.

The young'uns need to sort it out. They should be throwing some kidney punches and flares about!

Exactly. When we were kids we looked up to the bad lads on the Kop and listened with interest with what they had to say. What have todays kids have? There’s no leg room, can’t hold hands with my mate, there’s no hand made focaccia bread on sale etc etc etc

one thing i noticed yesterday after that frantic scramble in our area in the last minute of injury time was how the players reacted and again at the final whistle gesturing to the john st stand and our fans responded just wonder if some of our players are a bit too quiet and dont gee the fans up enough billy being the exception

IMO our chants are nothing compared to the witty relative banterous ones we used to do, spelling out the club name and singing about a player that's been injured for three seasons now just makes most cringe at the though of joining in with that.

28k? No way was there 3k empty seats

We all raised an eyebrow at that.

Sat on JS tonight instead of SS as usual. Only empty seats I could see were the 1k in the Westfield Corner, the two or three rows at the back of the Kop, and a few in the Pukka Pie Corner as was.

Probably a few singles kicking about too

Certainly didn't look like 3-4k empty.

South Stand was very enjoyable tonight, that will never happen in a league game unless there's a season ticket seat shake up, helps having a good away end too but by far the best the lane has been for a hell of a long time.
Strongly disagree. I have a ST in south stand every season(John street for cup games) and its a decent atmosphere whoever sits there, depending on the opposition of course.
