That was an advantage??They took good advantage of our advantage.
They’d still have won because they were better than usWe are so niaive it's a joke. Every opposition player milks every non existant foul and time wasting opportunity while we run around pointlessly trying to stand up. Another abject failure by management not "playing the game". Be honest and miss out on promotion or cheat and go up. That simple.
It was Jebbo, not Ndiaye.Lets be real, Mcatee stayed on his feet and even managed to get a accurate forward pass away to Ndiaye.
It was Ndiaye who then sloppily gave the ball away and then turned and watched them race away from him and score ( a la Wrexham when they scored their 3rd)

Dunt really matter. We were never scoring another anyway.
It needs attacking from all angles though, it has become "accepted" because nobody apart from fans call it out. For Anel's booking last night the co-commentator was saying he'd caught him, then it shows a replay where there's no contact and the guy has just thrown himself up in the air screaming and instead of correcting himself the co-commentator says "yeah looks like he just catches his toe there!"I’m conflicted on this. I hate all the diving and chucking yourself around to buy free kicks (and include Billy in this as he does his fair share) but when you see teams effectively punished for trying to stay on their feet it really annoys me. Refs really have to get a better grip of this aspect of the game. This is not a Blades tinted specs thing more a general observation
It can be both though can’t it. The problems highlighted for their third goal can be true while at the same time may well not have changed the final result. The issues with diving/staying on your feet is a wider issue than that one incident and while we were shit needing one goal to get a point or two does impact on what happened after. You’re probably right that we’d still have lost but we don’t know that.I mean this is the crux of the matter. Blaming the ref in this one is avoiding the point that we played complete wank for 75-80 minutes and the opposition wanted it more all over the park
Robinson plays a massive part in the 3rd very poor line he was in line with Egan when they first got the ball.View attachment 154023
Clutching at straws blaming the ref last night.
"Taking one for the team" always annoys me as well!"well I think that's what is called a professional foul nowadays!"
Boro had too much pace up front for that to happen. There was a part of me thinking he should have brought Clark on at HT.
Does anyone have any inside information on how much we want it on Saturday? Wondering whether to tune in or not.... and the opposition wanted it more all over the park
