Once, twice, three times a bounce up (and all given to Swansea)

How come three times the ref gave a bounce up when we had possession and yet every time he gave the ball back to Swansea? Donohoe was the ref against Coventry on Boxing Day and I wasn't impressed. His worst decision today probably went for us, a poor tackle by Bogle which he waved on, even our players had stopped expecting a foul!

How is this clueless muppet still being allowed to referee games at this level? Can’t even work out who had the ball when he has to stop play?

How many times have we had him at the lane and he’s had a total nightmare. You won’t see many games where we win 3-0 and the ref still gets booed off at full time.

Their manager got booked for protesting his decisions which tells you the opposition thought he was as hopeless as we did.

Utter joke of a referee.

Probably the worst yet, and that's saying something this season.

according to todays ref, players can go down and hold their heads when the other team have possession and he would not only stop play but also give them the ball. If every game was played to his rules it would be a total mockery as he was making his own rules.
good job we won or would have been a riot

That was the most inept display of referees, rewarding cheating I have ever seen
I hope Billy , Bogle , Ndyai, , Berge, & Hecky call it out for what it was
Sh1t

He kept stopping play for NON head injuries when Swansea clattered into each other. Then giving them the ball at the restart.

Laughable refereeing performance pretty much from start to finish.
1/10 - and that’s just for being there so the game could go ahead.
Can’t possibly agree

On a scale of 1-10
I’d give him minus 100

Ref was awful, someone needs to give him his p45

If your scale is 1-10, how can you give him -100 when it’s not on your scale?
If your scale was -100 - 10, then you could & he’d probably deserve it.
My scale was 1-10 so I gave him the lowest I could.
We’re agreed he was shit anyway 😉

And also gave them a free kick when their player was fouled by his team mate!

He spoke to Russell Martin (who was understadably furious at.not.getting a free kick) then seemed to give Swansea all the decisions for ten minutes after. I noticed when United were chanting against the ref, the Swansea fans joined in.

He got it wrong and basically didn’t know the rule, and his interpretation of it was just mad. As we said at the match, on what basis does the defending team get the ball back from the attacking team because one of their players is holding his head? The one on the keeper was even caused by his own player.

I’m pretty sure I saw Norwood clapping towards the Kop as they chanted you’re not fit to referee as well just after that incident
