Outgoing? SANDER BERGE ON WAY OUT ?

Seems very much like the repeat of the last window where it seemed Sander was all set to leave and then didn't. I have my reservations on Sander in terms of workrate and consistency but at the same time he will add quality to the side and if he wants to stay then that's good to hear. Just got my head round the fact that we could sign O'Brien and really think he'll be such a good addition which presumably won't be happening now.

The Prince has invested £5m of his own money into the club in the last five seasons. You are either confused or just inventing numbers.

Funnily enough, I would expect the owner of a football club to invest more into the club than 'Proper Blade' on the S24SU forum. But people seem to have a pretty low bar of expectation when it comes to His Royal Highness.
You're the one inventing numbers
He put 5 million in a season as did mccabe when we were in LG one
Then double that in the Championship and its reported he pit 25 m in this summer

If you can disprove that then go Head be my guest

Fulham and Newcastle step back from the Berge

There has been no further contact in the last 24 hours from Fulham or Newcastle for Sheffield United midfielder Sander Berge, Sky Sports News has been told.
It now looks as though the Norwegian international will remain at Bramall Lane until the summer at least.

Fulham have instead agreed an £8m fee for Torino midfielder Sasa Lukic - who, we are told, was always their primary target.
As Dharmesh Sheth reported, Lukic completed most of his medical in Turin yesterday and is due to fly to the UK shortly.
Eddie Howe is interested in strengthening his midfield options, but having committed £45m for the signing of Anthony Gordon from Everton, financial fair play rules have restricted what more Newcastle can do.

If he can’t get a move it’s cause scouts will have watched his injury record and lack lustre performances at this level. Maybe if he doesn’t get a move he’ll play his way to a big move. If we get promoted might keep his value up a bit as his contract goes down.

Scouts watching players ? New one on me that.

I'm also fine with this outcome if it stays this way.

I'm pretty sure Hecky will be delighted.

No need to bed new players in. Aside from Khadra, Hecky sticks with what he's got which is what he wanted really.

Let's then see what becomes of the takeover and the embargo.

Which would result in a point deduction.

Really think it's best all around if we sell Berge today.
Has it not been confirmed like 30 times that we cannot be deducted points for a breach in this regulation.. We can be banned from signing player if not rectified within a set time for multiple windows though.

Not team has EVER been deducted points for this.

It is’t blades mind.

I think you might be being a bit over sensitive on this issue.

I am aware that he doesn't like being injured, but thanks for reminding me that both of our most expensive signings are crocks.

Each to his own, it’s not something I’d do.

No team has ever been deducted, but that doesn't mean they can't.

He was living in hotels in the summer according to an interview he did and got burgled last season. I bet he loves Sheffield 😂

I know for a fact he does love it here, and his family like it here. From the closest source to him other than the man himself.

Still doesn’t mean he’s gonna stay here forever.

Doesn't he live in a hotel as he knows he could go? Hardly settled. A 6 foot 5 Norwegian Alan Partridge
  • Sordid little grief-hole
  • Equidistant between Sheffield and Rotherham
  • Basically driving round in an obscene publication (COCK PISS BERGE)
  • I mean, the guy obviously had talent. That's the tragedy

Shame. This was a serious opportunity to get stronger and prepare for the PL

OBrien to Blackburn then...!?

Wonder what pagecount this will be on by the time the window shuts
