Who was the player we had lined up to replace Berge at the end of the first transfer window?

That would still give us 12 hours to get someone in !!No one. We'll sell berge at 10:59 tomorrow
We can't sign this month, but if we do go up my number 1 target would be Alex Scott at Bristol. I imagine he'd cost a fair bit.
Berge will get sold too late to bring a replacement in, “we tried for one or two etc etc”

Gi em £25m and do what we did last time. Get relegated and have the best players in the championship for another promotion assault .Wolves have tried and failed. Bristol holding out for £25m+.
You must be thinking of a different club. When a club sell a player they don't suddenly put into process signing another player.
United will have sourced a potential replacement weeks and maybe even months ago.
They will have done the negotiations already, so a deal is already 90% done, the paperwork might already be drawn up.
Then if and when Berge is sold, it gives us the green light and we just need to complete the remaining 10% of the deal.
Yeah - definitely up there with Ndiaye as the most valuable assets in the championship. If we go up, and we don't have Berge, we'll probably need to spend 25m+ on a player who can be a difference maker at that level (like Forest with MGW), unless we are going to accept the payday/relegation.Wolves have tried and failed. Is that the one with the BBC that did tonight’s draw ?We can't sign this month, but if we do go up my number 1 target would be Alex Scott at Bristol. I imagine he'd cost a fair bit.
They're looking at a lad who plays his club football in Denmark. Can't say anymore but he's decent. When a club sell a player they don't suddenly put into process signing another player.

Well, if its an FC Nordsjaelland player it will get the Mohammed Mansour rumors swirling again!!.They're looking at a lad who plays his club football in Denmark. Can't say anymore but he's decent.

My name is Groot!- Jay Roy Grot?
i think thats a fair price for o brien one of the best midfielders in the championship last season and it would only be a loan with view to buy in the summer anywayForest want £10m for O'brien, and were running out of time, could all be very last minute.
Loan with obligation if, IF, we get the embargo sorted, but agree, hes worth signing.i think thats a fair price for o brien one of the best midfielders in the championship last season and it would only be a loan with view to buy in the summer anyway
Bristol play egg-chasing. Bristol City have got a decent player called Alex Scott though (mentioned deliberately following the uproar about Wrexham saying they were playing Sheffield). We can't sign this month, but if we do go up my number 1 target would be Alex Scott at Bristol. Ha - fair enough. Total hypocrite here. Its not like Bristol Rovers are the first football club in the world though. They are a very forgettable team.Bristol play egg-chasing. Alex Scott ? she's very attractive but I'm not sure she would bolster the squad that muchWe can't sign this month, but if we do go up my number 1 target would be Alex Scott at Bristol. I imagine he'd cost a fair bit.
Plays for Denmarks U21s I take it? Because we were scouting a match of theirs just a few months back. They're looking at a lad who plays his club football in Denmark. Can't say anymore but he's decent.
Would their mother tongue be Portuguese by chanceThey're looking at a lad who plays his club football in Denmark. Can't say anymore but he's decent.
