Why are we just a set of misserable buggers ????

We have just won 8 out of the last 10 games Drawn 1 & lost 1,

We have just won our last 5 away games

We are just emerging from a period of long injury lists, and an international break

We stand 2nd in the league & 11 points ahead of 3rd spot.

What exacactly does it take to make you lot happy ???

League finished now, 6 point deduction for Burnely, us declared champions immediately and Chansiri to be seen giggling, holding a sack with a dollar sign on it getting on a plane?

It's not that we're not mostly happy we've seen United throw away commanding positions on numerous occasions so to see the last 3 games look so comfortable for the most part then quite hard work for the last quarter brings on a bit of the old PTSD.
 
On a match day? Bare minimum:

3 points.

First on Roygbiv's post.

Home to a nice glass of Agentinian Malbec.

A selection of cheese and crackers while I watch Bladesman's highlights and read pommpey's take and Deadbat's report.

A soapy tit wank.

Anything less and I'm full shoes off mood.

I'd sooner be level headed, cautious and happy than arrogant and conceited. Imagine the pigs in our position - god forbid - it would be horrific. Just think back to the rhetoric from scab fans last season. Much sooner be like we are on here and never get carried away. We're Sunderland to their Newcastle in outlook. Delusion is a curse.

PS I think we did get carried away under Wilder in the first PL season and didn't that turn out well.
 
No doubt Fallowfield will chip in with his usual mantra.

Regardless of our position now we're still on a knife edge. Promotion with this side could ensure a few years watching the most exciting side in a generation. Failure will inevitably result in its breakup. This remains a time for level heads and cautious optimism

I was thinking the same, people moaning for the sake of it, insisting we win every game 3/4-0, we know the championship better than most sides and we know what a competitive league it is, one of the toughest in Europe imo, every game is a challenge, we win 8 out of the last 10 which is superb, yet the doom mongers still come out,.it's laughable really
 
I am very pleased we are winning while still thinking this side can do better. 50 points is great at this stage but we need the best part of 40 more before it means anything

We are at our most happy when we can moan.

Moan we have no money, moan everyone is against us. Moan the club is screwing us over.

But in all seriousness we cannot complain with the results. They have been excellent. We have got a knack of getting them at the min.

For me though if I'm being picky I'd like to see us have a few more complete game performances.
We are too often giving the opposition a chance to get something out the game. This happens but it does feel like most matches. That said we are being gritty and seeing them out which is good!

I feel like the last proper dominant performance was against Burnley.
