On the right played one game that season away to Portsmouth (won 5-1), later he moved to a Yorkshire club and was a regular in the club's 73-74 promotion season. The other (although it took me quite a bit of time that evening before I realised who he is) played in the County Cup that season but played some games for us in the 1st division before he went to a South West club 2 divisions below in 1974 and he scored against us in December 1976I recognise most of these legends, but who are the two in the last pic?
I'm thinking Dave Staniforth (Bristol Rovers) but I wouldn't have recognised him. Correct. I was surprised about Dave Staniforth. He used to look like Noel Edmonds but not now and that night he looked about 5 foot 8 despite that he was almost 6 foot in his playing daysGraeme Crawford on the right.
