Strange one from Hecky?

If it’s illness, I wouldn’t expect a comment like that unless you assume it’s something more serious than the usual flu, Covid, or virus and especially saying it when there’s no game for a month?

Fingers crossed it is just the usual winter bug

I’m really hoping it's nothing other than to keep him here and away from friendlies with Bosnia. Given the way this season is going however, I wouldn’t fucking rule anything out.

Sorry to disagree with a poster who has so much kudos, but without clarification, it could easily lead to fantasies of quite dramatic proportions, when supporters rightly question it, and arrive at the answer ‘five’?
But the poster with kudos is right mate- different kettle of fish talking about your player's physical injury, to revealing your employee's medical status. Dodgy ground.

Anyway, we're all trying to diagnose him on the in depth description 'a while'. I'd prefer to go with the theory of another poster on here, that we clearly don't want him playing friendlies for Bosnia if he hasn't been right, so rule him out and let him rest up. Hopefully he's good to go on December 10th.

Bosnia don't have any fixtures scheduled until March.

Hopefully it was just a reference to him missing training for a while, but with our luck this season I fully expect that he has got leprosy in both legs.

It was only a joke, apologies I know it doesn’t come across in text. Would be amazed if we sell any of our big players in our current league position.

We can't sell anyone when most of them are not even fit.

Me and my mate were trying to remember an example, in open play, where Eddie Colquhoun as the furthest player upfield, tried a flying overhead kick in a serious attempt on goal. Stumped R us. Silent ?
Not in open play admittedly, but I do remember Eddie Colquhoun and John Flynn both scoring with flying headers in the 3-0 win v Leeds (1971). What a performance in front of a 40,000 crowd.

Let us hope it isn’t a bad case of Beattie Flu until January!

Bettie Flu was because Kevin bet his savings on us going up straight away. We made a stupid loss on James because he would’ve bankrupted us if he got injured. We won’t be in that stupid position anymore

If he is to become a father, especially for the first time, it’s not unusual for the woman to protect disclosure of such information until the foetus has completed the first trimester.
Describing the potential father as ‘sick’, is fairly meaningless. Much easier to say, ‘ I have given him a few days off to deal with personal matters.

With his part in the process completed, it is unusual for the father to suffer any physical harm at this stage of the pregnancy. ;)
