I can see palace going for him if they lose zaha in the jtw, however the truth is they couldn't afford him
Where would Zaha go though? I can’t see a top 6 club coming in for him. His options are sideways (Everton, Villa) or abroad

Just watched Gordon for Everton, Chelsea offered £50m for him in the summer. I know it is a different division etc. etc. but our guy is at least his equal.
Skill, awareness, strength and the right attitude, I can see him going all the way. Man City with Doyle part of the deal.

By the heavens - this kid has some skills and what's more it seems so instinctive too. If he runs a line across the edge of the penalty area defenders won't dare touch him.

One of the most technically gifted I’ve ever seen for us. MGW & brooks also in the same mould. I think hes still got a way though, so hopefully weekly game time here will keep pushing him. Would love him to be here another 2/3 years at least. In an ideal world we would have 2 or 3 others with feet as good as him. A Senegalese sensation. Keep smashing it illimam!!!! Tenacity and skill is such a hard thing to find. A joy to watch.

I remember last year when the prince was on the sheff United way podcast and he said Bettis had told him ‘one of our youngsters’ was close to signing a deal and numerous high level coaches had told him it could be our ‘best ever’. I wasn’t convinced at the time.
Looks a lot like those words were correct though.
Very good interview btw and from what’s happened since, seems to have been very honest too.

He will pay for new training ground, standing section and a replacement player from the fee we will get for him. Priceless.

Back up at Arsenal and will be in and out at Chelsea. I just don’t think he has the consistency to be a top 6 player
Even Liverpool could suit him, they need something different in attack right now and he would get plenty of game time with the amount of games they play.

The reason Ndiaye might go to a club higher up the food chain than MGW, is that he holds the ball so well. That is why the top half teams might really look at him, excellant in the press and then able to keep the ball through phases in play.

It amazes me we haven't given him a new deal yet.

Only thing I can think of is that his last contact had no buy out clause. He might want one in his new one and even it was £25m someone may easily go for that.

For me he's just brilliant and he does the hard work dirty stuff as well. Not just skilful.m

Hi Yusuf Giansiracusa, how are you keeping, this fine eve?

Best performance I have seen this season, fantastic player. Just a pity he didn't score in front of our fans in thr second half when he rounded the keeper. Maybe he will get his chance in the World Cup?
Are we all going to the World Cup then?

I realise that ndiaye is 2 years older than mcatee and that can be massive at this stage, and mcatee is very highly rated at city but in my opinion ndiaye is more of a city type player, so I think if he does leave and he chooses an Everton or villa type of club then he would be underselling himself, he comes across as a person who's very aware of his worth, so I think he wont go unless it's a top 6 side, and I would absolutely agree with him

It depends who comes in for him. I doubt he’d choose Everton over City but if a top six club doesn’t come in for him and Everton offer him £80k a week, he’ll go to Everton, try to prove he’s good enough for a top six club and get a move. The only way we’ll keep him is if we get promoted and offer him a very good contract.

I agree with you in the sense that he may go to a mid to lower prem side with a mind that it would be a stepping stone, my hope is that stepping stone would be us, but from what I've seen and the progression of the last 18 months this lads journey is to the very top, and from what I took away from his stance when he signed his last contract he believes exactly the same as me

Yeah, I tend to agree, he looks great at this level and he’s nowhere near the finished article. I wouldn’t be surprised if a top six club came in for him but, if we don’t go up, I can’t see him wanting to do another season in the championship. He’s already proven he’s too good for this league.

As good as he is, I'm not so sure it would be so easy in the Premier League.

Still he is an exciting and valuable player, with a bright future. It will be interesting to see if he goes to the World Cup.

Hate to say it, but there isn't a bigger shop window.

HH.

It surprises and concerns me that a new deal hasn't been sorted. Only thing I can think of is that he signed last year and that contract may not have had a release clause in it.
Given his current trajectory his agent might be wanting one in a new deal and we might be less keen if it's not that high.

If it was say £30m is that high enough?

Just imagine if by some quirk of fate he ends up with the golden boot at the world cup....$$$$$$$$$
