What it says on the tin. When he's been focused on his game he's been doing well for us this season, but more and more his focus seems to be shouting at refs or assistant refs.

He needs to just get on with it. He's not been getting decisions but surely complaining about every one doesn't help his cause? He went over to berate a assistant ref last night who'd made a correct decision.

Refs have been told to let more physical stuff go and when he's used his weight he's benefited from it. You can knock defenders around and take advantage, but Instead he often theatrically throws himself to the ground.

He needs to watch how Sharp plays. You can win free kicks. Sharp is really good at getting himself between a defender and a ball.

He's already picked up a number of stupid pointless bookings which will cost the team.

He's potentially a very good striker when he concentrates on his game and works for the team instead of having silly personal battles and chasing refs around. It's no wonder they are disinclined to believe him.

A flurry of (most welcome) goals that he has added recently have not masked the glaring deficiencies in his game.

Case in point vs Brum. Poor performance overall, scores a goal, and instantly becomes MOM in most peoples eyes !!!

Not these 👀 😉.

No different to sharp who regularly did nothing, but then popped up with a goal.

He’s drifting back to what he’s been since arriving. Wouldn’t start him for a few games to focus his mind

It's what happens when you grow up with the Green'un!

Spot on Robbie !
He throws himself around like a rag doll,no way will he get decisions and berating the ref just makes that task even harder.
Why dunt Heckie tell him to cut it out (or is he not listening?)
Some of the appeals he makes are ridiculous ,his first touch let's him down as he is clumsy and expects fouls to be given when he is chivid off the ball because his ball control let's him down.
Might sound like I'm a Mcbernie hater! I'm not just want him to be more professional.
At it again post match yesterday( very childish and unprofessional).
Heckie has to get hold of him and sort him out.
He does take some rough treatment !
Really

reacting like he does just encourages defenders to continue doing it,the penny should have dropped by now! Refs won't entertain his antics!
Come on Ollie stop the antics defenders and to some degree refs as well are just ignoring your complaints.
Time to try another way surely! Come on Heckie sort him out.
Really hard centre forwards just get on with it which defenders don't like, use your brains like sharpie.

The non foul on him early in the game when the centre back used him as a climbing frame was unreal, the linesman darent give anything as the big I am ref wanted complete control, he was fucking useless. No excuse for McBurnie as he has to rise above it, but it is frustrating to say the least.

Not sure that’s right tbh.

It’s the snowflake generation that seems to take this view.

I could of course be wrong !

My abiding memories of the Green'Un is never covering anything that happened after the 80th minute and generally giving MOM to whoever scores.

Some players seem to thrive or perhaps need that bit of aggro to motivate them. The problem is after several whinges for innocuous stuff some refs might zone out when a genuine offence occurs as they're sick of it.

It's a part of the game that annoys me that any tall striker gets absolutely nothing from refs. Being big doesn't change two players grabbing your short at a corner is still a foul. It doesn't surprise me it frustrating for him especially since he's not the type who plays that game either like a Darius Henderson.

The bookings are a bit silly but his attitude is one of the reasons wilder brought him in so there is no surprises. If he keeps up this card per goal ratio we will be fine.

P.s funny how when he was playing well people said it was goals that matter. Now he's scoring the very same people are criticising his performances.

What?! One game. Albeit stupit. But Jesus christ , I hope you don't manage anyone!!
Yes mate hard task master. Two bookings for jumping in the crowd. First time understandable because he ain’t scored for years but to do it again knowing a booking would follow is just immature and last nights crazy booking after the game means he hasn’t considered the team at all now suspended immature so sometime on the bench to focus his mind

Bookings for taking your shirt off or jumping into the crowd should result in automatic fines

Wilder was well on top of that sort of stuff, and it was an important part of our success

I've said it a few times in the past, McBurnie never gets anything from referees.
There were some laughable ones last night where the QPR man was climbing all over him to win headers... nothing given.
The problem is, McBurnie conducts himself quite poorly with referees. You might say, that shouldn't have an effect - it's either a foul or it isn't - but that's not the reality.
We're all human and there's an art to seducing referees and getting decisions.
McBurnie costs us decisions.

I remember we came up against a good West Ham team in the Championship several years ago and they had Teddy Sheringham (what a player) playing and refereeing the game for them. It amazed me how quickly he had the referees ear and he gave them everything.

We need cool heads.

To be honest it didn’t look like a correct decision from where we were. I’m guessing you were much closer

Heckingbottom isn't happy with him: "His last booking was for jumping in the crowd and this one for talking to the referee. That's not good enough."

McBurnie was always going to get a yellow card in the next few games . I would prefer to see McBurnie be available for the Norwich match which is close by and sacrifice the Stoke game which on paper is the easier of the two . Time for Billy Sharp to get back to his goal scoring best and chip in with a few goals and keep the Blades top of the league !!!! Need reinforcements in January for top of the pitch similar to McBurnie in my opinion so we don’t lose the attacking and defensive quality when he goes off during a match .
Onwards and upwards to Saturday and another 3 points on the road !!!!

Totally agree, the last couple of games he’s gone back to being silly bollocks and trying to win a free kick instead of the ball.

Hope this is just a temporary blip as I couldn’t fault him in the previous games, come on Olly/Hecky sort it sharpish.

Not one game at all, Swansea Preston Birmingham QPR that's 4 games yes he scored a tap in at Preston but was dire same against brum good finish but all round not good enough he has a long way to go yet an 5 goals doesn't cover up the absolute dross he's turfed out for 2 seasons.
