SYP today

They took Bri & Irene’s. Arseholes.
I remember them throwing a chair or two from a cafe lower down Shoreham Street and a female shop worker gave them a round of fucks. SYPs “finest” were there to but chose to monitor. They’re wankers an all.

London Rd was chaos post-match. Brum fans in the Crown apparently. Coppers banned all traffic on London Rd for an hour or so

No stabbings reported. Syp are now investigating the disorder after the game 🤣. Thats like marking your own homework. Another shitshow by syp. Another successful policing operation as it was all the fans fault and they couldn’t have policed it any better. Alcohol was to blame. We will look to ban those involved. Well done syp. Same again next week. Rinse, repeat, never their fault since the 89 disaster, never will they improve, never will they learn lessons from other forces who police football correctly and effectively, never their fault, always the fans. SYP

SYP are fucking useless. I was walking down Bramall lane from the Sheaf direction at about 5 minutes before kick off. It all kicked off to the side of the Railway, with Robbocops and horses intervening. To my right, towards SS carpark, it was kicking off, with two going toe to toe (looked like a slow heavy weight boxing match) and various other skirmishes. Anyhow, I had to physically point a Robbocop that was looking straight down BL without any inkling to what was going on around him with the words ‘open your eyes you thick cunt’. He then actually ran towards ‘the action’. He reminded me of the three times today that McB looked like he was frozen in time. I love McB BTW.

Why did SYP allow these morons to throw the city into total chaos. Totally blocking off Bramall Lane then London Road is totally unacceptable… They’ll be bringing that bloody wall back next.

I went up London Road at about 5:15 on the bus and saw no trouble other than the usual slow traffic. Blades drinking outside all the usual venues and no sign of any Birmingham fans, or the police for that matter.

All SYP do now is film 🎥 .. half em look like they’ve been chosen from a PC tick list .. make better film directors than coppers nowadays

Assume this was the mob we saw striding up the middle of Shoreham street about 2.50pm. About 25-30 of them, no colours, dark clothes. They were looking everyone up and down and were clearly intent on trouble. No police to be seen which surprised me. They weren’t exactly inconspicuous.

I didn’t see any trouble personally, but it sounds more luck on my part than anything else. SYP are utterly abysmal and I’m not surprised in the slightest how people have been treated.

Don't know who the nobs were throwing glasses at police horses outside the Cricketers (and setting smoke bombs off next to them). Nothing like getting trampled on by a horse. I just hope the small lad on the receiving end of one of the glasses is ok. His face was a bit of a mess.
Surely you got this wrong…..from the posts on here surely it was the police throwing glasses??…some of our middle aged stone island wearing tools need to look in the mirror.

Oh right absolutely nothing to do with the pricks all congregating to fight then.
They should not have allowed them to leave the area where the coaches were parked . No one tried to stop them so yes they are to blame

Sometimes I think the police want fights to happen so they have a reason to arrest and ban football fans.

Even if you don't get arrested on the day, you'll be on cctv or some camera with a knock on the door FIVE months later.

We can argue on the tactics and intent. There’s certainly some strange ones used.

But let’s get it right. They’re there to uphold the law and keep order.

Not just at football, but during many protests when things get out of hand, as well as situations in Leicester recently they have stood by and watched situations occur such as criminal damage and physical violence.

They can’t be everywhere, I understand that, but when they are there, they are more concerned with videoing for later processing and conducting administrative tasks than cutting out the Trouble.

If it doesn’t get controlled and more incidents happen, which they will, then things will just get worse

Good. Always cause for celebration when some knuckle dragger is arrested.

Durham there, be too wealthy now after getting Starmer off?
Aye
Perfect analogy- not charging a bloke who did nowt wrong perfectly equates with doing nowt to prevent assaults & intimidation
I’m confident that (a fortnight of front page headlines in) the Daily Fail will fettle the whole situation & identify / investigate the miscreants - what’s the chances that they arrived in Sheff in rubber dingys floating down the Don🤔

like in the Star this week asking for help ID'ing 6 Blades in relation to Scabs playoff game last season

I wonder how many pages would / will be garnered when indignant Blades fans have their Civil Liberties’ curtailed when they fancy a day out with a few jars ( & the odd line) only to be ‘advised’ to stay on the bus - 1984 or what ?!

or acting up for the hiding they took all those years ago on London road ,
be a bit harder trying to recreate the pasting they got outside the old Blue Bell in town as unfortunately that hostilery no longer exists ,
they obviously didnt realise there was a backdoor in that pub that day

Always had trouble with Birmingham so not surprised in the least at what happened but SYP are a law unto themselves and will smash u if they feel like it obviously by accounts not that bothered yesterday

Someone should film them doing things like watching gangs of Brummies wandering down towards London Road to cause bother and doing nowt, kettling innocent Blades fans, attacking random supporters and compile a dossier to submit to the PCA, local MPs and the media. Document the incidents and record them. Maybe even set up a website so that people can upload footage from their phones.

I would have filmed what was happening but it was scary the way they were marching past go outdoors. It would have just antagonised them and didn't want any damage to car or me
