Actually, we would go up by one point. The only way GD will come into it is if we draw and they lose.

I am afraid I am now consumed by pessimism and think it very unlikely Wednesday will mess up against Wycombe. But there's always the play offs and we are due to win one of them.......

I fear that Wednesday will win their last game. We may well win at Exeter but it will not be enough.

I am very worried that we do not really have a stike force now. There is just no goal threat. Daming to think that Creswell is our best striker now. Porter and Beattie do not look to have a goal in them and O'halloran has no confidence to shoot.

I hope we can pull it off, but next year in the championship with this squad will be very difficult.

Beattie did make a nice header to set up Lowton's goal and only the keeper's foot denied him a goal in the final minutes.
O'Halloran has not just disappointed us, his home team won't be wanting him back either pace but he just can't finish.
Porter was poor.

Absolutely, Stevnage in the semi and then MKD or Huddersfield in the final. There is no reason why should feel intimidated by any of them (and don't anyone mention that we failed to beat Stevenage in 2 games so far!)

Let's be right, we had a poor 1st half, they scored 2 deflected goals and we still nearly rescued it. MacDonald was awesome 2nd half and Flynn, Cresswell and Beattie transformed the game - Stevenage will feel very fortunate to have escaped with a point.

as it was ours to lose up till today.
yes our first half was abysmal no movement, lathargic, lacking in confidence but most of all lack of commitment.
If our players needed geeing up at half time then tbh they all need to hang up their boots right nowto me the only 2 players coming out of the first half with any credit were maguire and lowton.
2nd half after they scored, if it had finished 10-2 i dont think stevenage would have complained too much, forget quinn and porter, give O'halleran a confidence boost up front with cressy, flynn out left and i dont doubt we will win next week, as for the other lot, well i honestly believe wycombe could cause an upset, they have nothing to play for so might just play without fear, tho i think the upset will be a draw, as for us, yes it could be argued we are playing a similar side to wycombe, relegated, nothing to play for BUT and heres the big difference, no one in this league likes wendy and wouldnt it be just peachy if for once the last gasp win was in our favour sending us up instead of wendy
