stop f**king arguing.. stop moaning.. stop being the bloody victim.. have your Ched punchups after the match.. for one match.. just one match can we make a right racket and get 'properly' behind the team.. not a couple of 'Sheffield United's that fizzle out after a minute.. no crying .. no whinging about Quinn (from me .. heh) even if he is shit.. it doesn't matter now.
If we go two up and they score do NOT meltdown.. we are STILL winning..

Agreed - no looking around for and complaining that the atmosphere is flat. Make sure it's not flat. You, not others.

Agreed 100%, we need two wins against teams we are better than if our heads are right.
We've done an excellent job so far this season, let get over the line and pull the bones out of the hardships later.

Fans regularly moan on the lack of connection from club, players and fans, and on Saturday there is a really chance to contribute and feel part of it all.
The fans can actually have a real impact on the toughest part of our season.

This Saturday ask not what it is your team can do for you, ask what you can do for your team.

no mate wasn't me.. i was composing an epic thread about all this stuff and i suddenly thought it doesn't matter..we can argue about bl88dy ched evans and simmonsen and all the other guff next week.. just for one match we have to draw a line under this 'we always lose.. it is always us' stuff (it might be true but it is irrelevant for now) and kick some proverbial..
like i say .. you might have the season ticket..shirt and be rated by the promo office as a proper blade.. you might not.. it doesn't matter.. now is your chance and that is everybody.. including me.

Firstly, good to meet you the other week super_pig!

Secondly, entirely agree. We've had a tough week as a club, but its not the time to moan and bicker, its time to finish the job.

I think we're putting a lot of faith in our manager and rightly so. One thing about Mr Wilson is that he seems to prepare well, has faith in his players and doesn't venture far from his game plan... in short he doesnt panic.

So we need to keep faith, keep supporting, believe in Danny Wilson and the team that he puts out on Saturday is the best available. But most importantly get loud and UNITED!
 
Brilliant post mate. I've been reading everything avidly these last few weeks but refrained from posting as its felt like being at the top of a rollercoaster hurtling into an oblivion like hole but that sums up where we all need to get to by saturday. Lets take on the variables we have control of and leave the rest until the seasons finished.

Can we make this a sticky thread or replace the login message with this in some way foxy/linz?

I have just received an alert that says you are following me. A bit of speedy research revealed you are following a number of other people as well! I have never been followed before and it is making me uneasy. I'm not sure whether to tell the site gaffers or go direct to the Police. I take it you are aware of the Protection from Harrassment Act 1997?

Can I follow people, as well? How many? Do I have to hide around corners? Can I wear that long raincoat that I use for midnight walks in the woods? Obviously I can't follow you or we shall end up walking around in perpetual circles. :)

This is the stuff I want to hear. It's easy(ish) for me to go week in, week out. I don't take it for granted and I do (mostly) love it. I love my We*****@y mates too, think they're delusional, but have sometimes quite admired their blind faith. Not that I've told them that..Sorry, I digress, because this weekend is nothing to do with them. It might well not be the deciding factor, but just in case it does make a difference....Of course we need to be united...COME ON YOU BLADES

Ok, I confess that went over my head :oops:..I've just re-read my post and can only conclude that the 4 words you didn't like were "thank you, I'd love to take up your kind offer to provide me with a free upgrade to my obsolete back boiler"..I've been lurking on here for years, but have been too dim to post until now. That said, give us a clue about which 4 words? :)
 



I've been on a bit of a downer about the whole Ched Evans episode, but it is time to draw a line under it, and concentrate on Saturday's match.

I still think he is not guilty, but i also think that the 9th and 35th minute's applause for Ched is not the right way to go about things, as it will drag the clubs name through the mud once again once the media get hold of it, so i'll not be participating.

What i will be doing, is sinking a load of fine real ales during the afternoon, and going to the Lane where hopefully my Red and White heroes will make me proud once again, and giving them my 100% backing.

Just had a little listen to this, to give myself a little gee up.
