I think he means this is a sale might be because we need money quickly for united world. So selling less than the release clause.

Asaba may have been drinking or something this evening. :)
I thought that was a myth? I thought PA said previously that money raised by our club remains in our club and doesn’t go to United World?

...and why on earth does the transfer window shut in different countries on different days? Ridiculous.

not sure on deadline day FR can be trusted to be 100% on it. He said we’d signed those 2 foreign wingers last summer.

He’s balancing a million plates at once now.

But sounds like it’s all kicking off and something could be happening

Yep and we got neither of them.

We actually wanted the window to close before the season started but no other European FA's would agree to it.

If it was a fire sale as you’re suggesting not sure we wokld be spending 5m on kone.
Receive £15m, bank £11m for running costs of the squad etc & spend £4m. I don’t think we’re so desperate that we’re on the brink. But I also think we need the cash flow

How come there is nothing on sky if any of this is happening

Because SSN are busy repeating the same stories about the Prem teams and ignoring the other teams in this country.

They had Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink on earlier and they asked him one question about Burton Albion and then moved on to 10 minutes of questions about Chelsea and Leeds.

They're showing the Man U team coach stopped outside the ground and we've been hugely encouraged to look for ''A WHITE KNAPSACK' because it's Rinaldo's and he's not going anywhere.

But again, even if it happens you’ve no idea why we’ve decided to sell him. Using words like ‘clearly’ when things are anything but doesn’t help anything.
What reason have we decided to sell him if he is sold?

We kept an unhappy player that wanted out last season because we didn’t received the right offers. This year we had a stance of £22m or above he can go, it SEEMS like he’s going well below that value, so why?

Baldock said the other day he’s not a player to force his way out, so possibly it’s because we want a return on the initial investment as we still owe money on the deal? We still have a premiership wage bill to pay? I don’t think anything I’m implying is wide of the mark

I’ve no idea and neither have you, that’s exactly my point.

Why does it seem that we’re going to sell him for £22m? That Fabrizio Romano guy on Twitter has mentioned £30m in his live discussion thing.

I think what you’re implying could be true but it could also be miles from the mark. What you’re doing isn’t helping anything.

Richard Sutcliffe of the Athletic has just said on RS that the offer that Brugge have had on the table for a few weeks he believes is 17 million euros (£14.6 million) plus add ons. He isn't aware of them, increasing this offer before to-day. If we are still entertaining talking around figures as low as this at this late stage then I agree it smacks of last minute desperation and undoes all the good work of the transfer window so far.

After suggesting through various channels we were looking as a minimum to recover what we paid for him anything less will undermine confidence in the Board amongst the fan base and is likely to affect the feel good factor that the manager and his team have created so far. Its good that a replacement is being lined up but letting a key player go on the last day of the window for considerably less than what we valued him at will lead to serious questions once again about the capability of the people the club employs to negotiate deals.

The varying transfer window closure times don't help. Brugge will hold all the cards if we let negotiations go beyond the 11 p.m cut off date for the EFL window closure. We could be in a situation where we have committed £5 million for Kone and not agreed a fee for Berge. For that reason alone our negotiating team must pull the plug on any deal tonight if a fee can not be negotiated. The words of Stephen Bettis may also come back to haunt him " We don't need to sell"

Where's a Daniel Levy when you need him.

Surely you could comment the same on any post & thread. People react to things, that’s the point of a forum. Who am I not helping? We’re all offering our thoughts, reactions & guessing why it could be.
