Outgoing? SANDER BERGE ON WAY OUT ?

This is what I feared about the on going discussions between the clubs, we will have hoped for other clubs coming in with top dollar but kept talking to Bruges where we will offload him for a lot less than we had hoped if no one else came in late on. Gutted if it goes through 😢

Over analysing, I reckon. It's all fairly small fry to Fabrizio and at this level he's probably just copying and pasting whatever agents are telling him.
 
it is what it is but if he goes this late on then I will be a bit pissed off with it. We should take the gamble with the squad we have, we will be up there come the end of the season.

He blows up every tiny bit of news reported by anyone so it generates more attention than it might do otherwise. Fair play to him because he does a good job of picking out the juicy stuff but it does lead to a lot more bed wetting than would happen otherwise.
 
Clearly we needed the money more than we needed to keep hold of him for a potential promotion push.

I think the fact he’s down to the last two years of his deal is a big thing, they know they’ll get more for him now then they will this time next season should we not go up
 

Typical United if this happens. Sell arguably one of our best 3 players at a loss and replace with an absolute unknown (but typical of United the Kone purchase won't of course go through in actual fact).

Apologies but having been a Blade for 40 years I'm a died in the wool cynic.

I suspect it means it's evident we're desperate to prop them up so we'll sell cheap

I think he means this is a sale might be because we need money quickly for united world. So selling less than the release clause.

Asaba may have been drinking or something this evening. :)
 
I would rather Berge goes to Brugge than anywhere in this country. Why he would go there is beyond me. Only 4 current Belgian internationals play in the Belgian League. The standard is not that high so Berge would look good without even trying Maybe he just physically not up to English football and the intensity of the season here smacks of lack of ambition on his part and I thought he was supposed to be intelligent
 
Feel sick that we are going to take a fair bit less than we paid for him… no doubt the club will make it sound better with un achievable add uns which makes it sound as though we have done ok with the fee when in fact we have been low balled and took below what he is worth.
 
not sure on deadline day FR can be trusted to be 100% on it. He said we’d signed those 2 foreign wingers last summer.

He’s balancing a million plates at once now.

But sounds like it’s all kicking off and something could be happening
