I've mulled it over a bit more to see if I was just getting overexcited but I stand by my opinion on this. Ndiaye is slightly older than Brooks was in his first season, and Brooks was obviously hit with glandular fever during that season too which sidelined him and possibly set him back a bit when he returned. And I'm not sure Ndiaye has had a "signature game" yet like Brooks did against Wednesday at Hillsborough.
But I do just think Ndiaye is a better, more rounded player already (than Brooks was before he joined Bournemouth, just to give context for anyone else reading). I think he impacts the game more, he's a much bigger goal threat, and as
jono_t2000 says above he has the edge on his physical attributes. The way Ndiaye stepped up for us at the end of last season when all our strikers were injured probably tips the scales on this for me.
All opinions innit

And hopefully Ndiaye in 6-12 months is playing like Brooks was at Bournemouth before his injuries and illness.
Also, I'm feeling back to full health now, thanks very much - and testing negative
