Trigger Blade
Cheerful twaddle
Eddie Ilderton
He took a bit of getting used to, he didn't blow for every niggly foul and was the same for both sides and the game flowed nicely. There wasn't a foul given for most of the first half and very few in total.
At time, I felt he was perhaps a bit lenient, one instance in the first half where Hill was through on goal and seemed to get clipped and he waved play on. Hill had no reason to fall over.
Not directly the ref's decision, but how did the officials arrive at 2 minutes added time at the end of the first half, with no stoppages, the physio didn't come on at all, or do they add on a bit for five goal celebrations?
It was also 2 minutes in the second half with no physio appearance, although Doyle did emergency surgery on Ched and we made three substitutions.
All in all though, I can't ever rememeber feeling the need to say well done to a ref, but I thought he was good.
