After the sad news of Van Winkel leaving for pastures new it is a new era for the super blades and it is fitting that we will be playing Boro and the traitor Wilder in the same week

Hopefully Pep Heckiola the Barnsley Pep can come up with a winning away formula as it is becoming a worry our away form much like when Hecky has to pick a substitution before the 80th minute

I have one request for Hecky please do not play Jimmy Fleck he may have been in a winning side last week but i don't care the bloke has had more than enough chances and i would like Norwood out too when Doyle is back fully fit

My team would be ....

----------------------------------IN goal league one Wesley----

----Georgiuos Baldcockious----ANAL----Egan----Clark--- Notts forests Max Lowe----

-------------------------Berge ------------------ Osborne----

-----------------------Macateer -------------Ndiaye -------

---------------------------------Brewster--------------------------

OMG, that's a bit of a car crash of a line up.
Norrington got to be the first choice LWB
Osborn should be no where near starting and is injured anyway

Flecks been playing injured for 12 months :shark: :shark: :shark:

Well, I'd like us to win, so playing Lowe and Osborn is a huge NO NO from me, I'd like to see......

If we put that team out Wilder will bash one out with excitement at the prospect of a big win for them!

So you suggest we keep playing Jimmy Fleck and Oli no tackles in away games ?

Even though we have won one away game since February in the league

Anel Egan Clark

Baldock Norwood Arblaster Norrington-Davies

Berge N'Diaye

Brewster

Subs;

Doyle
Fleck
Khadra
McAtee
Sharp

Obviously I know fleck will start but oh well. Egan, Norwood and Brewster played full games vs WBA so have to manage them well.

Osborn is now injured after the W Brom game feeling pain in the hamstring area so It would be doubtful he will be available. I would imagine it will be the old duo of Norwood and Fleck again.

RND for Lowe and Arblaster for Osborne then it's a yes from me

Would love to see Arblaster again but Hecky won't throw him in at the deep end after playing 90 mins for the first time at this level on Thursday. Likewise with Mcatee but expect we'll see him on the pitch at some point

Wes, Baldock, Anel, Egan, clark, RND; Berge, Fleck/,Doyle; Ndiaye; Sharp Brewster.

Would be looking to being a box to box shitehouse in to replace Fleck asap. Unless Doyle is the man. The other kid from Man city seems to be an attacking type.

I think realistically it'll be Brewster up front and Norwood in midfield, but with our struggles away I'd like to see us set up to play fast on the break and try and expose the way Boro play. Norwood finds it hard away from home when teams push up on him and for me Brewster isn't a focal point of attack so I'd have him on the bench for this one.

It isn't the team I'd want to see every week this season but I think for the particular game and opposition it's the best we have to try and improve our away form.

I'm not sure if the back 4 at West Brom was a one off due to players available or something else, but longer term it seems the only way to try and fit in all the attacking players we have signed unless Berge or someone else is going to leave.

This will be the team. I’m almost 100% sure

Our most impressive and effective attacking displays last season were towards the end of it , when we were forced into playing without a recognised number 9 and used MGW , Ndiaye and Berge together up front .

By replacing the former with either McAtee or Khadra I think we can replicate some of those performances and cause all sorts of problems to teams like Boro and is what I would like to see tomorrow .

Feel Sharp will start today.
has made sub appearances, is fit, but more importantly will again want to prove a point to Mr. Wilder.
it still annoys him that Wilder did not play him in certain important fixtures the most notable of which was the derby

Come on Hecky, do the right thing, drop Fleck.

I posted this in the match day thread. Can't be arsed to type it all out again 🤣

Perhaps it's time to mix the midfield up a little? Wilder knows all to well about our midfield. Close Norwood down early and he's out of the game. When Norwood has an off game, the rest seem to follow. Chuck in some unknowns such as MCatee and Khadra and see how they cope.

I'd go with (if all fit)

FODS

BALDOCK EGAN ANEL CLARK NOZZER

BERGE

MCATEE KHADRA

BREWSTER NDAIYE

If its not working then use the 5 subs to revert back.

Element of surprise rather than predictably.

Edit. The team above is probably the best that we can put out pace wise at this time. Counter attacking options galore 👍

I like that team but we have got Paul heckingbottom in charge #nochance

If we start sharp ahead of an improving Brewster I give up

Sharp should be a bench player this season unless either ndiaye or sharp are injured IMO

True, but, I think that's our current best 11. Unfortunately I can feel a Flecking coming up!, hopefully I'm wrong and my team is put out!!🙏
