Thoughts on the kit?

Yeah. Or just remove the stitching as it’s not actually serving any purpose as far as I can see. Been better not having it there.
I'm guessing there's a panel/another piece of fabric on the inside of the shirt that has the size information and that 1889 print on it so the stitching will be for that.

I tried three of the hoodies on in the shop on Saturday morning and noticed the badges in slightly different positions on all three.

On the two red ones one has a slightly wonky/rotated badge and the other had it raised slightly higher up the hoodie compared to the Errea logo. The one on the white version seemed to have the badge located in the correct position.
See what u mean about the wonky badge and the not level logo and badge. However those hoodies look nice, are they 100% cotton or is the panel at the top polyester?

Bespoke - every one of them is different to the other.

Which isn’t doing anything really and could be removed. Giving themselves more work in production and causing issues.

It's called money, that's why.
Money makes the world go round🎶 don't get me started, might break into my 'Liza Minnelli, you'll not like it, a lot.
That's why I won't buy anything to wear to advertise someone's product .... they should be paying us!

We've gone back to the 90s having to sift through the hangers for a decent one.
I'm sure the club have their reasons for doing what they've done (financial mainly), but did they even ask to see any examples of their work? The little bits we've seen are very poor quality. Badges out of line and skew-wiff, stitching all over the place and labels peeling off. Not good that. Not considering the delays involved.

In fairness we’ve probably seen, what, one rear badge peeling off, one slightly wonky on a training hoodie and one bit of dodgy stitching, out of how many shirts? People were queuing round the car park to buy it on Saturday so a fair few must have been sold already.
These issues arose with adidas, by the way, each season and they were taken back and swapped.

It does seem pointless. Isn't it a common thing though on t-shirts/polo shirts or am I imagining that? I'm not at home at the mo so can't check my wardrobe....!!

I'll admit we've seen a very small sample. I haven't seen one in person either so can only go on these photos. People would queue round the car park regardless of who makes the shirt anyway.

Not really. I've said for a while I expected it to be poor stamdard/quality. I'm not a brand snob either, if I like something I'll buy it regardless of name. But I still expect decent work for £55. That just isn't decent by any means. Its not too much to ask is it?

Shorts are bang on. But not for £30.
If you want to console yourself it probably cost pennies to make so think of as shit because it cost pennies to make and ignore the £55 you’re paying 😜

There was a video put up last night about the cost of shirts and the breakdown of the profits. Quite interesting actually. 10 minutes long and used Germany 2018 WC shirt as the example.

I'll be down in January.

Someone said at the weekend we will be wearing the pre-season white one at Boro....
Does it get more tinpot than not even having enough away shirts for the squad ready? Never mind the fans I can understand that shipping stuff etc. But surely there's enough material for 25 players? They've got thousands of home shirts ready, no excuse whatsoever for no away shirts.

I would be surprised myself if we wore the white one but the bloke who mentioned it says he was told by someone in the club shop!

New home shirt all over DHGate for between £11 and £15. Name and numbers if you want them. They might even be able to supply you without the awful Ultimate Champions transfer if you ask. Can't be any worse than paying £55 for official sub-standard rubbish?

Will we be allowed to wear the white kit? I'm assuming we've already submitted to the EFL the kits we want to use for the season?

Never had a problem previously from there. Recently had a double neck guitar built to specification - or 'bespoke' as it's sometimes known - from a manufacturer in China and it was built and shipped within 6 weeks. Bloody beautiful it is n'all. Sounds ace, once the strings were changed.

In general stuff Ive had off there is spot on - only thing I ever had a problem with was when I tried to get last season's home kit for my daughter. Never showed up and got excuse after excuse, could say I was training for this summer 😂

Had a quick look out of curiosity. I assume this is a Chinese site?

Can't believe some of prices o_O

I've had a couple of United shirts off there just to see what they were like/compare to the real ones but never thought to look on it for anything else.
