A load of the ones I saw blades wearing on Saturday had dodgy stitching on the back similar to the one posted a couple of pages ago (and the badge on that one was peeling).

I can see a load of online orders being returned for this reason. Hopefully the other kits are delayed because they're sorting out the quality control.

I like the new kit but lessons will hopefully be learned for next season. Anyone know the length of the contract?

Someone a few pages back suggested if it had 3 adidas stripes down the side, people would be happy. I would be as I know it would have been stitched properly by a 6 year old in Indonesia!

After seeing the shirt at the game on Saturday, as sponsors go, I think that one on the back is ok. I mean, I'd rather it wasn't there at all but it could be worse. It's pretty small, slim text, it's black with a tiny white border, and on the fans shirts it's right near the bottom of the shirt instead of a third of the way up like it is on the player ones.

But thats their logo. We couldn't very well say - yeah sponsor us by all means but we're changing your logo

I have only limited sympathy. I guess the silly cunt actually picked it up off the rail in the club shop and bought it? I assume the badge wasn’t peeling at the time, but I also assume the stitching was still Stevie Wonder quality.

You didn’t pick anything off the rail. You just asked at the counter for the size you wanted and they fetched you a new sealed shirt.

The ones on the rails were for trying on only.

Training wear was taken from the rail and taken to the counter for purchase though.
