overview
top 2 contenders lose 6 to 10 games a season
top 6 contenders lose 9 to 13 games on average

looking at fixtures overall watford away is one youd say was a possible loss
as is boro the next one
we have a tough start.
but its a marathon not a SPRINT

Im sure Fulham fans wont panic if they lose game 1 v Liverpool obviously one of the better teams
pragmatic view required not headless chicken

Start with Brewster against Millwall, ffs..
Why he did nothing when he came on on has done pretty much nothing since he signed? If sharp is fit he plays, simple. Can't pick a player just because he cost £25m or whatever it was

Where did I say we need to play Brewster because we paid millions for him..?

Nobody else did really, do we not play the rest who did nowt..? Reda Khadra looked promising when he came on, I'd be tempted to start him too, on the basis he's fit enough.

We should just mark Cooper with 4 players as long as he dunt score we'll win I'm getting sick of him scoring against us now and isn't he a defender 🙄 thats what makes it worse

It's not just losing, its the manner of the defeat that I tend to bother with. I can deal with losing every week as long as we are a threat ourselves.

The other night was just rubbish.

It's not about it only being the first game, it's the manner of defeat in a game where if we'd had a go we could have won.

Starting the season in the half arsed, confused, scared, slow, disjointed manner is becoming a habit, and points to no manager ever being able to get his team purchased, ready and prepared for the start.

After all, what's the problem, it's only the first game, and then it's only two games into the season, and before you know it is five games into the season, then ten.
And that's what cost us promotion last year

Correct.
The scoreline is much less important than the performance.
I'm looking for signs of a plan of attack.
Some fitness & movement.
Some accuracy of passing.
Cutting out mistakes.
Not getting stupid bookings.

Just think it's strange that people are calling for breswter to start, based on his performances for us he should be on loan in league 1. Can only assume its the hype that surrounds him...

Khadra is a given to start the next game

Leaving us with an injured McBurnie a coming back from an injury Sharp, Osula and Jebbison, I remember last season away at Luton and Brewsters shot come cross that went out for a throw in saying never been a footballer, however pre injury last season he started to prove me wrong. A fit Brewster will score goals the question is can he keep fit? UTB

I just feel like we need to try and get some decent game time rather than coming on in dribs and drabs.

As bad as it was on Monday (Hecky thought it was good & we should show the same endeavour on Saturday), I don't think anyone is predicting doom & gloom based on a single game.
On Monday we played with the same lack of intensity , passion & ambition we did against Derby, Stoke, Coventry, Wolves, Millwall, Huddersfield, Preston, Blackpool, Barnsley, the pre-season friendlies & now Watford.
That's not a knee jerk reaction, it's a genuine concern the manager is out of his depth.

Don't be too concerned your wrong he's not.

Picked up a team under Slav that really was lacking in intensity.

Took us to Nottingham when everyone thought it was done and dusted- mauled them completely to within a kick of going to Wembley.

1 loss at the worst starting ground we could have had- and you come up with this twaddle.

He's got a full run at the season - we will be play offs minimum - have a little bit of faith/ support Pal.

Thus is by no means my first rodeo pal & I'm not usually wrong going back as far as Harry Haslam, Billy Mckewan, Jimmy Squirrel. Adrian Heath & more
I hope & prey you are right my 'happy clapping' pal I really do.
I will eat the most humbling of pie whilst cheering to the rafters ... what will you do if your twaddle is wrong?

I look for a team chomping at the bit too.
Dint see it!

Conversely when we have played 45 with 1 match left to play, where will we be,i dont know, probably between Gibralta and Cold Blow lane.

Another way of saying "Gibralta and Cold Blow Lane" ?

Well done today Blades especially first half very impressive. I wasn't even hid behind the sofa 2nd half back 3 dealt with everything thrown at them. Again well done today UTB
