It's the goalie shirt, not the away shirt. I'm sure someone said much earlier in here that it was supposed to be the away, but they couldn't meet demand or something so they're using it as the GK shirt instead.

After 10 months of a design process, and with only 2 weeks to go to the season, they cannot meet demand. If that's a genuine reason then this is a proper tinpot setup.

What absolute rubbish. Even the worst Adidas kit (our relegation one) is better than that. Apparently that's bespoke.

That shirt has taken 10 months to get to this point.

mattbianco1 has done better designs while making a cuppa.

The club should put mattbianco1 designs forward and then let the fans vote. Everyone would be happy then.

Everybody should write to the club complaining and ask them to employ me as chief designer.

Yeah, and that. Bespoke means someone at the club had a hand in the design apparently. Who? Maybe this is why we get templates? Templates are designed by people who know how to design and make them.

Some like it. Some, like me, are underwhelmed. Some are laughing that their is an actual response to it.

Doing a simple design well is often just as difficult as creating something new and different. The details have to be spot on - everything comes down to execution. We'll find out when we get our hands on it whether they pulled it off.

Exactly this. They've listened to the fans and produced a really nice, clean looking home shirt.
I'm a big fan.
I'm not really sure what more they could've done with it to be honest?!

The goalkeepers kit is a nice nod to the past and I think it looks the nuts.

So far I'm actually really impressed with their efforts. Hope the fabric isn't naff.

There's also a reason why clubs dont just chuck a shirt on the floor and take a pic of it for the official launch. It makes people think less of the shirt, compared to when they actually release it with a proper marketing pic. Clearly some on this thread demonstrating this.

I also quite like the theme of throwback kits.

Would take a luminous yellow one next season with a collar, paired with red shorts and socks. We've never managed to replicate it properly.
Go old school with the badge too.
Would fly off the shelves if the sponsor didn't ruin it.
