Anyone know where it has gone? i can find it for prem but nothing else. Would like to check out fixtures and complete it to see if we have the easier run in

Can't help but think I gave too much credit to MK Dons! Absolutely horrible table mind...

(For some reason I had them winning all but two and drawing the others)

That would be horrific if it came true!

For what it's worth, this is my prediction going into the final game of the season. :eek:

I'm just hoping I didn't drop into a clairvoyant fugue of some sort! Looking back, I was definitely way way waaaaaaaaaay too generous to them.

After Satdi;

Points based on season form;

Charlton 100
Blades 90
Pigs 86
Udders 85
MK 82

Based on a projection using 'form' from last 6 games;

Charlton 95
MK 86
Blades 85
Pigs 84
Udders 81

Urgh, maybe I wasn't so daft after all.

Its going to be tight i know that i have us on 95 points with just one defeat to MK dons away and a few draws. I do have us winning every home game. My worry is that most have Exeter in and around the bottom 4 on the last day.

In your horrific scenario we have another 2 games against the pigs!

Don't I just know it.

Although, I'd rather face them in the semis than the final, so I suppose it wouldn't be the end of the world.

Using the entirely unscientific method of replicating the result from earlier in teh season, leaves teh to 6 as:

1 Charlton 96
2 Blades 88
3 Pigs 84
4 MK D 82
5 Hudds 78
6 Stevenage 74

going into the last match...

...I'd take that...

The bottom line is, no-one would have predicted us throwing away a 2 goal lead against Oldham, Charlton losing 2 home games on the bounce, Udders continually throwing leads away, Yeovil and Notts Co heading the form table etc etc

I think 90 would be enough.

Indeed even 88 or 89 could be plenty.

With 11 left; if we win say 7, draw 2 and lose 2 that would put us on 91 and be enough.

Even 6 wins, 2 draws and 3 defeats would see us on 88 and may be enough.

Bottom line I feel is we can obviously afford to lose 1, maybe 2 but 3 or more defeats and we are prob headed to the playoffs

We have lost 9 out of 35 whereas Pigs have lost 9 from 36 - both teams have similar records home and away
With 11 games left you might expect us to lose another 3 if the average is consistent over the whole series of games in a season.
Trickiest away days seem to offer potential for defeat at Notts County (given recent form) and MKD.

It's not just the defeats though - if we lost 4 and won the others that would give us an additional 21 points and a total of 89
Not sure that would be enough as over 90 seems to be what will be requred for an automatic spot.
What really throws you out of a promo race is drawing when you should have won.

Could remain unbeaten for rest of season and drop like a stone if we start to draw as regularly as Hudds

Goes down to the last day according to my predictions.
For some reason, Yeovil seem to be flying high on mine...

I did it for the top 5 and get

Charlton 98
United 92
Hudds 84
MKD 83
Wed 81

In the last 10 years only 10 teams have obtained 90 or more points, I can`t see 4 or more teams managing that this season.

I got us second on 97 - Charlton first on 101. Then Wednesdays third with 89. Huddersfield forth on 87.
