Not me...in managerial terms the people responsible for our demise are Robson,Blackwell, Speed and, to a lesser degree Adams.
Certainly not calling for his head, but what do we think about the substitutions today? Should we be looking to win it there with ten men? Or to hold on to a point and hope to nick a goal.

Sorry OldBlade, cant agree. The rot set in over a long period. The style was set by Blackwell and the writing was on the wall given the style and quality of play. It got no better under Speed and Adams inherited the poison chalice. I dont absolve him entirely. We had a succession of managers over a short period not helped when Speed chickened out after 18 matches. Adams only had 23 to turn round a totally demoralised squad devoid of any class.

Definitely not calling for Wilson's head, the man has worked absolute wonders. But as for "it's just one game", it's a very bloody costily one, our entire first choice back four out in one afternoon! And it shows we're not much without MacDonald, two defeats and two unconvincing defeats since he got injured.

We lost, had a bad day all round, but its just one game we have lost, still got 13 games to play and hopefully seal promotion, so why would anyone come on here and call for DW's head, unless your after a bit of attention, which you have now got.
I agree that things had been getting steadily worse for quite some time, and our financial decline was certainly not Adams' fault. However, I don't believe the squad was totally demoralised at the time of Adams appointment. Performances hadn't been great (under statement!), but we never went on a prolonged non winning streak. The longest run of games without a win was 4, until Adams was appointed, then we went on a substantial run of winless matches.
There was obviously quite a lot wrong at the club last season, but I do feel Adams could and should have kept us up.

Not Wilson's fault but he should rip shreds out of the players for thinking it was already in the bag at the start of the 2nd half. Too much bloody show-boating with fancy flicks and trying 30 yard shots. There were 3 occasions early in the 2nd half where Evans had the opportunity to square it to a Blade in the box but he shot from the most ridiculous angles. Could have and should have been out of sight before they scored their first.
Totally agree brownie, that's why I ask who is going to be the first on here to ask for DW's head, nowhere in my post do I allure to anything of the kind.As for attention seeking, yours truly over 100 posts,mr brownie over 3,000 need I say more.
Fully agree some of the players, especially Ched, were looking for self-glory rather than playing in a professional way
Only 23.Sorry OldBlade, cant agree. The rot set in over a long period. The style was set by Blackwell and the writing was on the wall given the style and quality of play. Yet again Evans shows his true mettle.Ched was a strange contradiction today - No one can argue he has been the catalyst of our season and today he made the first goal with brute strength and perseverance and only him could have scored the second from the angle he shot from. But when we needed him most in the second half and down to ten men, he missed two gilt edged chances and at times seemed reluctant to chase, harry and close down from the front when Oldham were in possession. I found it odd he seemed to take his foot off the gas at times when we needed everyone to give that bit extra to make up for being short handed.
Because win, lose or draw there are still some that want him out and will take any opportunity to say so. Not me though. Wasn't happy with the appointment but i'm man enough to admit I was wrong.Deleted Member said:post: 395664"]Why are you interested in the first who comes on in here calling for DW's head?

Think it's their inexperience that led to the lack of professionalism. Plenty of experienced players still do it, but the best players learn from mistakes and move on. Still think we've not seen the best of either of them and just hope we can hang on to them long enough to reap the rewards. But that's a whole different thread.>because we don't actually have many home games left
good .. the fans at the lane are a liability at the moment and after reading some of the posts on here i can see why
>It was completely down to our players lack of professionalism
the two players sent off are just young lads, you ought to cut them a bit of slack
