With this seasons fixtures due to be released next week isn’t it normally around this time where some numpty declares that they’ve already seen them.

Load of rubbish if you ask me and I wouldn’t dream of posting such rubbish.

I mean if I said to you Birmingham at home then I don’t know what you’d think

Always good to have a guess though.

I'm going

1st - Rotherham A
Boxing Day - Stoke A
Last Day - Burnley H

I'm fully expecting 3 home games to be squeezed into the first 2 weeks as I'm away

I reckon we might start away.

Burnley - Away first game.
Coventry - Home 2nd game

I really don't understand the buzz folk get by guessing. Moreover those that claim to have seen them and then brag about getting it right. It's actually quite embarrassing.
Who do you think we’ll get 8th game of the season?

I think it’s safe to assume we won’t be travelling 500 miles for any away game this season. That’s my guess.
Well, there's a 40 mile limit because of the lack of trains. NYD is similar but there are trains so distance is relaxed a bit.

Carlisle and Plymouth don't get that advantage any time but it's their fault.

I can only assume:

a) that doesn't apply if a team is in the middle of nowhere given we've played Sunderland on Boxing Day recently
b) that doesn't apply in the Premier League given we played Watford in the first season

Hoping we are at home first, as it'll work out before for my holiday. Is it usually the case if you play at home first game of the season, you're also at home boxing day?

My uncle's mate works on the champ fixtures, and he said if we run a poll on here, who ever is top of it,he will see 'what he can do ' to make sure we play them.
Seems reasonable.....🤔

Beyond first, last and Boxing Day I never really care about the fixture list. We play everyone home and away so what does it matter?

On top of the that the Championship can be a very unpredictable league, so a particular month might look hard on paper at the beginning of the season but by the time you get there it's just a bunch of mid-table nobodies (West Brom being shit last season for example).
