Just look at the quality of their running gear.......

Other than it being a simple design I can’t really see a quality issue from the pictures.

Quality to me is stitching, will the sponsor/badge crack or fall off? is the shirt light and breathable? do they fit nicely or like a bin bag, etc?

Agreed. Hard to tell from a picture anyway. Needs viewing up close/have a feel of the material.

I suppose on one hand you argue that as long as the new signings are holding up the new shirt when back for preseason that does it matter?

But I think we are missing a trick not having at available for end of season. A number of fans will be going abroad for summer hols. Missed opportunity to not sell to them to show off when they are in the hot weather. Yes, many will still buy but you'll attract some casual buyers that won't be as drawn if you're not selling until the season is underway and their summer holiday has been and gone.

Why don't we just wait and see before commenting on something none of us have seen?

As said, as long as the design is ok and doesn't fall to bits when washing/stitching ok etc then all good for me.

I'm expecting the designs to be OK, but the material of the shirt to be awful. It will all be made from a single piece of sweaty nylon like the old Macron shirts were.

The Adidas shirts have been a clear step-up in quality of garment - the front of the shirt has often been a different material to the back/sleeves.

It's the little things, but here's an example...

I wish they'd hurry up. It takes about 6 weeks now from China. There's no way I'll get one in time for my July vacation at Humberston Fitties. :(

I'm not sure we necessarily had the quality with Adidas that people are saying. The home shirt for the 1st premier league season had issues - mainly colour run from the sponsor logos. The home shirt for the 2nd premium league season (with the white back) wasn't very good in terms of the quality of the material (in my opinion) and the pink away shirt bobbled quite easily. In fact my son had the pink shirt 1 day before returning it and the replacement went the same way.

I seem to remember the issue with the pink away shirt was the players wearing it!

Had a quick look at previous Parma and Iceland shirts and they seem to be multi panelled with venting down the side. I'd assume we'd be getting something towards that end of the range rather than the Dog & Duck end of the range.

Surely training gear is for training in ,it's going to get sweaty if you actually do some training .or is it people want it for poncing about in , I'm sure most manufacturers use polyester

So what embarrassing situation has befallen the kit release?

(based on the monkey covering its face in Shoutbox)

Hmmm, not sure about the design but I do like proper collars though...

Here's hoping. Just checked the 2020/21 Norwich shirt and it does appear to be a level up from the Port Vale and Aldershot kits:

The only thing Errea could do differently is use a polyester with a lower GSM weight. And I see no reason why they would. It goes without saying they are a smaller company - who else could we have gone to as big as adidas?

They’re a sports brand. They sell running vests. They use social media to pics of them. So what? Adidas use social media to promote collabs with Gucci. It’s apples and oranges.

That looks absolutely spot on to me.

Also, with Errea we will more than likely get a bespoke polyester fabric with our logo woven in to the pattern. That is something that costs manufacturers money and not something adidas ever gave us.

It amazes me how any teams manage to be taken by surprise when it comes to designing and releasing a new kit. It happens every year and should be planned in accordingly. Hopefully it's announced and out within a short timescale as I thought the days of not having the kit in the shop for the first league game were a mistake of the past.
