Play off final

Huddersfield, Huddersfield, Huddersfield.

Fuck Forest and the mentality of their average fan. As others have said if they stay down they lose a lot of this team and it's possible they lose Cooper too at some point. I wouldn't be surprised if The Dirties take a punt on him when they are in the bottom three in September.
Cooper is a top manager, forward thinking, dynamic and it's a shame he's at the scabs. I think he's destined for big things and really hope it's not with them.

As some have said Florist have 5 loan players and clearly most of them will go back if not all particularly Spence. Given that they do have a great manager so the question is will he be able to replicate those players with the similar quality ?

Selfishly though Huddersfield is a closer match for us and I dont think they will have the same quality as this season .
My geography is not great but is Huddersfield nearer ?

Well, it would be nice to see a 'perfect storm' happen to them that they get helmeted big style at Wembley and Cooper resigns, their star players fuck off and the City Ground burn down. Just in time for that fucking spunker to emerge from clink with his rear end looking like a tired St Bernard's mouth.

If Forest don't go up, they won't be as good next season unless they retain the players they have.
They are on the crest of the wave, if they go up they will continue upwards at least initially but should they not win the final I'd expect a bit of hangover.

I think the thing is too, although we won't have MGW for sure, we more than matched them 2nd leg. We actually were the better team 2nd leg.
This Forest side are good but they are still in the championship and are no world beaters.

In a way, I'm glad we're not in the play-off final. It is so late in the season that players get less of a summer break and managers can't finalise plans for the following season with any certainty. It must put the promoted team at a disadvantage.

The best way to get promoted is to finish in the top two.

Hudders for me. Based on two facts.
1) natural justice, they finished 3rd in the league, therefore 3rd best team overall.
2) I can't stand the attitude of the pigs (version 2), entitlement, arrogance, and GBH to our revered captain.

Huddersfield for me, was actually born there which I dont blame them for. Talking about Hudders for 1 second if I may, my dad took me to the old Leeds Road ground in the seventies for a League Cup quater final i think and there was over 50,000 there. I remember Worthington was playing along with Cherry, Elam, Krizwikki brothers, Terry Poole and all.................................................eat shit pigs!

If Forest don't go up they won't have Davis, Spence, Zingernipples, Lowe and Garner next season. They won't be as good. That said we won't have MGW to drag us kicking and screaming into games so we'll be a lot worse as well.
Agreed. Cooper is a man whose career is clearly on the up, but assuming they stay down its hard to see them being as effective without their 5 loan players. All 5 were in their starting 11. Made a huge difference. Unusual that both wingbacks had been loaned from playoff rivals as well.

Bert doesn't remember Dick Krzywicki having a brother.

I didn't particularly have an issue with forest until last week's kick off. Any "entitlement" they have they can wave 2 European cups about. Unlike our neighbours who can wave their torches about.

So Huddersfield for me this time. Although it wouldn't hurt to see someone "new" up there. Just not them. Or the pigs.

I'm trying to work out if it's more of less likely they'll sign Lowe for decent money if they go up.

Forest have a lot of players on loan.
They'll all be gone back if they don't go up

Plus they'll lose a couple of their own as well

I hope Huddersfield beat the arrogant twats

Huddersfield took four points of us, that shower only took two

And over two legs they didn't beat us either.
I don't know what everybody's worried about Forest for

There likely to be as shit as us next season

who do we want to win, Forest or Huddersfield?
It goes against the grain, but I hope Forest win.
Don’t get me wrong, I have no time for them, especially after their antics against us in the semi.
However, I feel, the Championship will be easier with Forest out of it.
Honestly don't care.

Forest are a better team but I think if they don't go up Forest will be significantly weakened with the loss of loaners and maybe a couple of others off as well

Plus it's a Sunday afternoon kick off with no bank holiday Monday to fall back on

Dear santa, I want fuck all this year except the above to happen.

Oh and some Hai Karate.......

Come on Huddersfield, I have never wanted a team to win as much that wasn’t us , I will be blue and white that day , there you go I have said it 😲

Huddersfield to win for me.

Forest won’t be as strong next year

What happened to Billy Sharp at their ground

Arrogance of the forest fans

Darren fletcher supports forest
Good point about Forest. I hadn't thought about that. Isn't half their team loans?

Left back, right back, centre mid, attsckong mid, centre forward.

We had a reliance on Gibbs-White but he was the only loan player who was a fixture. For them, Spence, Lowe, Garner, Zinkenargal(sp), Davis.

Huddersfield were pretty much all their own except Colwell and Sinani.

I'm sure Forest would have a good go, but unlikely to replace those as well. They lucked out on Spence. No way they're getting a 15-20m wing back on loan next season.

This is their Triple Assault type season. Loads of positive press and the. Hopefully very little at the end of it.

As is states, 5 fixtures to replace, best player probably gets a lot of interest and less time to prep for the season ahead.

Definitely Huddersfield now. They deserve it. Finishes higher.

I want Udders to go up.....but if Forest did, like Leeds, the fans just disappear into obscurity to us.....they'd have different fans to argue with online, most of whom don't care about them....

And going to the PL, some soul is traded for that extra money, for all it's joys, it's a tainted cup.
