Thank you to everyone at the club for taking it to the wire but not then prolonging the season any further - saving us two weeks planning time, saving fans money, saving us from wasting a day in London and all that. If you’re going to lose a play off, the semi is the time to do it.

There, I’ve found some positivity

Joking aside - Proud of the players and all the staff for the way they’ve carried themselves since Hecky came in. Not slagging Slav, but the way we’ve picked up this season with so many set backs has been immense.

Hecky has led us on the pitch and reconnected the fans again with the club.

He’s got a big job this summer and plenty of deals to be done. If we can get the new owner in then it’s a bonus.

Things could be very exciting next season - if, and it's a big if- we can find someone of the calibre of MGW.
Looking forward to seeing Bogle, Norrington-Davies, N'Diaye and Brewster stepping up to the plate, and I really hope we can keep hold of Berge.

I agree. Seeing Robinson tonight and how far he’s come this season he’s an absolute machine. He needs work still but he’s replaced JOC now in many ways. RND looked better as well.

Getting MGW was a hell of a move, he’s improved with us and other clubs will see that. Ndiaye has also gone from not being able to finish 60 mins to 120 mins and a cool pen in a few weeks

Yes absolutely.

Thank you.

Proud.

My abiding take from this season will forever be that over the course of the season, the balance of key decisions for and against have emphatically not gone our way. Cursed luck with injuries compounds this further.

Let’s hope this imbalance corrects itself next year and that we can challenge again.

I’ll tell thee this though.

Egan, Sander and MGW will be almost impossible to adequately replace and so we are already weakened.

Sadly.

Well done Blades. I expected the season to be over in March when Slav was in charge.

Taken it to the wire in the end and nearly beat the Madrid of the Midlands in the process.
