I presume so as we are due to play them on Sat. 24th March & the JPT Final is the next day.

Get it booked in quick (and Scunthorpe), get the points and relax. Don't want a fixture pile-up.

Or, given we are now out of the cup, shove it into the midweek after the final, like on the Tuesday, and take advantage of the fact that they will be knackered.

We have had to play the Tuesday after a Sunday semi at least twice in the past...

Move it earlier and we'll be playing 4 away and 2 home games in March...

The Scandinavian Blades were planning on coming over for this one too.
 
It was my lads last game before leaving for Afghanistan ,he's gutted.

The Blades home clash against Chesterfield on Saturday 24th March has been postponed.

This is owing to the Spireites involvement in the Johnstone Paint Trophy. Jack Lester's late goal at Boundary Park on Monday night assured John Sheridan's team a place in the Wembley final on Sunday 25th March against either Barnet or Swindon, after they overcame Oldham Athletic 3-1 on aggregate in the northern area final.

A re-arranged date will be confirmed in due course.

Scunny already have a game that day (vs Notts County) so no chance of that being rearranged. We look like being at a loose end that weekend. Leaves us another game to arrange for midweek. Not great. We've got time to rearrange and can hopefully get the game in before end of March. However, I worry we may have a fixture pile up (and be off the pace) come Easter time.
 
With 2 midweek games to rearrange, it looks as if the best dates are: 13th, 27th March and 3rd, 17th and 24th April. Get them out of the way asap Blades, like we did with Yeovil. Go for Scunthorpe on 13th March and Chesterfield on 3rd April.

Come on Fleety, you've got a much better game-missing anecdote than that 
 
When will it be certain if the game is postponed? Because we're coming over from Belgium and we'll be staying in London. It would be usefull if we know if the game will be played so we don't have to make a useless train trip to Colchester.

This is chesterfield. But the morning of the game probably at the earliest
