I think Billy and Che Adams were the only two to come out with any credit at the end of it. I don't remember Basham being anything that special that season either.

One of those moments where, when I watch that clip again, and again, those words make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

Can’t think of many players who have been just as consistently excellent as Basham has been for us for such an extended period.

When you think he’s gone from abit of a scapegoat to arguably our most consistent player is incredible. For me he’s been our best performing player in the PL and since the back half of the 100 point season you can could genuinely count the number of bad games on one hand. For a player to more than step up to every new challenge and step up in class is commendable.

He Has made everything out of his talent and maximised his career fully.
