I worked in the same group as Albert Cox's daughter about 20 years ago and she gave me this newspaper cutting. 6 days after the photo was taken, we thrashed Wendy 7-3.

Top row: ?, Fred Furniss, Derek Hawksworth, ?, Eric Burgin, Howard Johnson

Front row: Albert Cox, Ted Burgin, Harold Brook, Jimmy Hagan, George Hutchinson

Could the unknown player third from right, back row be a young Graham Shaw, was on the books Sept. '51.
Feller back row far left, could that be the Harry Johnson mentioned in the text? Or is it a miss print for Howard.
Sir James, a brisk 39, ye can't deny quality even in a different discipline.
Ted Burgin behind the stumps, that figures.:)
Who got 104?

Howard Johnson probably. Young Harry Johnson was 52 at the time

I can recollect all players who appeared for United '51-'52 season, except a C.S.R. Young , goalkeeper, 3 apps. and a S. Rhodes, one app. at inside left.
Possible back row far left could be either of these players, unless someone knows better. Graham Shaw I am sure is the other, unknown.
