For me, Forest and Huddersfield will be 3rd and 4th.
Which means it’s between us, Luton and Middlesbrough for the last two play off places.

We did the hard work by getting into the top 6 after a terrible start but we've reverted back to our early season displays just when it matters. I'll be stunned if this team gets into the play offs now and to be honest even if we did we would have to rely on incredible luck to get promoted. Maybe 3 0-0s and a couple of penalty shootout wins

I know people are saying results went for us yesterday because those above us dropped points, but no bugger beneath us did! If things go the wrong way for us on Monday, we could only be above 12th by goal difference.

There'll be more twists, no way is it over yet- bloody is if we play like that though.

A lot of the other teams are at home Monday. Yesterday was our big chance to put some daylight and we fucked it up as United invariably do.

We will drop out by KO Monday and not sure we will get back in.

Blackburn and Middlesbrough are as bad as us so think 3 above will get in and then one of Millwall or Coventry now I reckon. Cov have lots of goals in them and far fitter than most sides. I think Robins has slowly become a very good manager.

Annoying thing is Forest are decent but it's it's dire Division. All 3 promoted teams will come back down I believe.

2 wins out of 4 should do it - it’s squeaky bum time for everyone

We might beat Cardiff although they've got loads of big blokes and we can't defend headers so reckon a draw. However we will probably lose both away games. Not sure we even take it to the last day personally.

We just look spent. The lack of energy yesterday was frightening. The Resding players ran faster than any of ours did when at full time they ran to celebrate. Only Berge went past his man once. In 90 minutes.

Forest injuries are mounting up, Luton cloggers yesterday have put Keinan Davis and Scott Mckenna out for a while on top of Steve Cook and Max Lowe out. West Brom shithouses up next on Monday so probably a few more clogged.

I predicted 7th at the start of the season and I'm sticking with it.

West Brom on a late charge

Might not get in but they’re upsetting the apple cart

It’s a cert we’d come straight back down

Of course it is - but to go out on a wimper like yesterday is so depressing.

About 90 mins before kick off I was hopeful of a full on game- high intensity - complete up and at em display- then the teamsheet - no Fleck no Berge - replacements Hourihane and Osborne - instantly I knew - in for a ponderous load of rubbish.

Slag him off all you want but - the only player with any balls yesterday was Norwood-

Hourihane we know I shit he is - what the fuck was Hecky thinking?

And McBurnie- that was about the worst 45 of forward play I have ever seen- truly diabolical- he makes Porter look like Ian Rush.

But a win on Monday we are right back in it..

Got to agree, Norwood has adapted to his role in front of the defence quite well. He breaks up the play a lot, wins the little nicks and the headers, doesn't always make a clean tackle but he's definitely improved.

Norwood is ok at this level and as always he sprays exquisite balls about but he needs some energy at the side of him

They are all crap ,from back to front and sideways.I just think they always were ,but for a brief moment they played out of their skins and shined.
They are a bunch of cloggers who got lucky under a manager who pushed them on for a bit with a style that worked at the time.

That's not a very positive review. We had a bad game Hecky got it wrong then scratched about trying to claw it back which we did until the school boy error defending just after but this side is capable of getting in the top 6 , if we can produce Bournemouth performances with a bit more up top (hopefully Billy) we may just get in . Utb

Considering the rest of the teams have to play each other, I think all 4 spaces are still up for grabs

Norwood has his critics and he is far from perfect - but just imagine if he got crocked ? Then you would see just how shot we could be

Could be like this for a while because when you take a look at Watford, Burnley and Norwich, there's some absolute shite coming down too. Might be better without Fulham, Bournemouth and Forest and with those three although without Gibbs-White you expect United to be worse.

Mathematically you’re right

But Saturday we looked , as most have said , spent . Not helped by poor team selection imo
