do we have to be sttacked with a machete or a sawn off shot gun to be given a penalty

Their defender kicked. Gibbs White balls up into his throat

and that after the assault at Stoke not seen apparently
Two crap decisions no doubt, but we should have scored other goals. MGW missed two glorious ones and then our new defender spooned one at the end

And the disallowed Norwood and Berge goals.

Not been funny but it's a bit fucking obvious someone doesn't want us to go up.

2 points at Blackpool
A point if not three at Stoke
2 points today

5-7 points in the last few.

We'd be second already. That's without that asinine performance away at Bournemouth.

Absolute garbage.

I sometimes wonder if giving the ref a lot of grief in the game is counterproductive.
With tight calls like that one, he made the wrong call by maybe not wanting to appear influenced by the crowd.

But in this case all he did was confirm the sentiment of “you’re not fit to referee”.

With the amount of faking and deceit that goes on every game it doesn't make it easy for them. Ive seen our players do it just as much as others, rolling around like twats because they lost the ball and desperate for something. The pen was fairly obvious in slowmo and on a clear TV angle but clearly not as easy real time on a crowded pitch otherwise it would have been given. Its a case of the boy who cried wolf unfortunately, IMO players are as much to blame as the refs

Agreed, it does make it almost impossible to get all the decisions right when players roll around even when they haven't been touched. However, I thought today Bournemouth were far worse for that than we were (McBurnie's the only major culprit in our team) yet they seemed to get the decision every time they went to ground, and then MGW is actually fouled and gets nothing.

Regardless, if I performed that badly at work I would be sacked.

Yeh Smith in particular was going down for nothing all the time. Like you say though we had out own culprits like Mcburnie (who i thought generally had a decent game apart from the silly dives)

I said it when we got promoted last time, we are playing against 12 men.

I rarely recall any controversial decision that has gone in our favour especially this season bar the Udders disallowed goal and a red card for one of our players. Away at Bournemouth the ref was giving pens for fouls outside the fucking box, how do you even compete with that?

Other than yellow cards, we were getting no big decisions from the ref today.

I’ll forgive refs a lot, especially when they’re being played by teams. But I had a great view of the penalty appeal and it was a shocker. He gave fouls for minimal contact all game long (fine if you’re consistent), but to not give that was a genuine horror decision.

And 4 mins added when 6 were added on Tuesday? Baffling.

I was delighted that we didn't have to suffer anymore VAR in this league but decisions like that make me feel otherwise. It's the marginal offside decisions that ruin VAR though, overall I'd still prefer no VAR but obviously we'd have a pen with it today.
