This could feasibly happen:

United v Bournemouth - utd win
United v reading - Utd win
United v Bristol - Utd win
United v Cardiff - Utd win

The bmouth game is proper touch and go but we’re at home, the rest of you take them at face value we would be huge favourites. I accept that winning 5 on the bounce isn’t easy though.

That would mean utd would be on:

44 GAMES 76 POINTS

Meanwhile, Bournemouth could feasibly go on this run:

Utd LOSE
boro LOSE
Coventry DRAW
Fulham LOSE
Swansea WIN
Blackburn DRAW

That’s not beyond the realm of possibility. That would put them on:

44 GAMES 77 POINTS.

One point ahead of us with two games each to play. I doubt anyone on here will be saying it’s gone then if that unfolds like that. I’m not saying it’s nailed on or anything but people on here act like nothing surprising ever happens in football.
Not entirely out of the question is it, although lets revisit in approx 52 hours

Mark Travers, Gary Cahill, Lloyd Kelly, Ethan Laird, Chris Mepham, Nathaniel Phillips, Adam Smith, Jack Stacey, Jordan Zemura, Philip Billing, Robbie Brady, Todd Cantwell, Ryan Christie, Lewis Cook, Siriki Dembele, Jefferson Lerma, Ben Pearson, Junior Stanislas, Jaidon Anthony, Jamal Lowe, Emiliano Marcondes, Kieffer Moore, Dominic Solanke

I think they'll cope

A beautiful dream but not much likelihood, sadly. Their squad is too good.

blade too long has two S24SU accounts?

on social media there is Forest fans genuinely talking about how they can catch Fulham

There's no disputing that they're on a very, very good run and a good side, but they're getting somewhat carried away.

Unlike us they spent money in January and added 5 good players to an already strong squad.
This investment will get them back in the premier league

In the words of the Great 70's Disco band Earth Wind and Fire
Come see victory, in the land called, "Fantasty"

Like comparing apples and oranges.

Bournemouth are a team in a building phases after a year in the championship and several years in the prem.

United are a team in the dismantling phase allowing contracts to run down whilst looking to sell any assets.

There will be many places between us in the league standings by the end of the 2022.23 season.

Hope so, with us above them !

If Bournemouth do get dragged into the playoffs the disappointment at not making autos will be very difficult to shake off and I can see them blowing it.

Sometimes I feel however well or poorly we play, if we could learn to cross the ball, we will would always get a result.
