Decent, solid performance yesterday. We we're far from spectacular, but Bournemouth never troubled us. Don't remember them creating an opportunity all game. Thought it was a scrappy affair and not pretty to watch, but it was a professional performance from the Blades. 2 nil away from home you absolutely cannot grumble at, even if the Santa congo was the most entertaining point of the match!?

Credit to Simmonsen who looks a assured and completely reformed, the two centre backs who were the best players on the pitch and Cresswell for putting in a shift, leading the line well and being the first line of defence. McDonald controlled the game in midfield and showed an excellent range of passing, Williamson was frustrating going forward but tracked back well and worked hard, Quinn was poor and Evans had a slight off day but was involved in the 2 goals (and looks dangerous).
We're definately one of the 5 best teams in the division. If we keep Evans and make one or two additions in January, then I think we can push on for automatic promotion. I am confident that we will keep turning over teams like Bournemouth, Yeovil etc at home (convincingly) and that we'll pick up points away at Colchester, Brentford, Exeter etc. However we have some tough games away at Pigs, Huddersfield, MK Dons and Charlton (the other promotion contenders) and these could define our season.
I'll write a report later if I get the time ......
