not as catastrophic as we thought

I'm sorry ....................... BUT were in the pub league and in my mind that's not where the Blades should be.

Do you think anyone wants to be here? ---the fans that is.
Below is your answer.
This is a good thread as a reality check to the doom and gloom merchants

we all know that
but the fact is we are ,for now

mmmmmmmmmmm................................. the problem is still at BDTBL.

If we had won every game so far 6-0 wed still be in div 1 , I don't want to be watching us play Rochdale, but we can't change that till May

man city were here not long back 1999
so were villa
its just a detour , charity work ,giving poor clubs a big game

Well given that both parties would know that Evans could be in gaol pretty soon, I think it would be explicitly written into the contract - maybe that the club could terminate the contract if E is convicted on payment of a certain sum to him.

In reality, I can't see anyone touching him with a bargepole until the case is over.

But if a buying club could set up his contract in the way you describe, what would they have to lose by signing him before the court case?
Assuming that United would let Evans go for nothing in order to get him off the wage bill, they could snap up a bargain in Jan rather than wait.
If he is found innocent in March he could well be a free man and a free agent by June. In which case, many more clubs will join the chase.
If I was a Championship manager, I would be taking the plunge sooner rather than later and I think that's what will happen.

" Villa were here" not long back ! More like 40 years ago, jeez

We are where we are, nuff said

norwich been here 2 years ago then
stop being so negative

yeah no one likes being here , but we are
doesnt mean we are a fixture

we are in league one

But he was part of our problems last season. Evans.
Bought for promotion, led to relegation.
Since he caused it he must remedy it.
He can go..now..for me.

He didn't have a good season by any stretch, but to basically single handedly blame him for our relegation is absolutely ridiculous.

And Leeds of course. Though Bradford, another former top flight club, have sunk without trace.

Doesn't seem like almost 11 years since Man City beat Gillingham in the Div 3 Play Off.

You are having a laugh.
We went down because all the team could not score enough and the defence was crap.
How you can blame ched is beyond me. If we had not got him for the last 10 games we would be mid table at best or even worse now.

I'd like to ask you how he is going to remedy it by playing for a different club - bearing in mind, his goals have probably gained us 10 or more points.
