I was recently watching us mess up against villa a few years ago when we let a 3 goal lead slip in the last 10 minutes and it got me thinking about the greatest blades comebacks. What’s your favourite?

West Ham in 1993-4: 2-0 down, won 3-2

Colchester in 2014-5: 2-0 down with 10 mins left, won 3-2, which is in terms of time left our best ever comeback to win I think.

Forest PO semi, personally enjoyed 3-3 away at Southampton 1993, 2 late Flo goals, down to 10 men early on, pitch invasion.

Not much to get excited about in those days but that game was fun

As an aside, there was a young family (mum, dad and 2 small girls) sat in front of me and my mate that day. The dad very politely asked us if we could be a bit careful with our language...no problem!

At one point in the first half some decision or other went against us, leading to my 6 foot, 16 stone mate standing up and bellowing "REFEREE, YOU F...............LIPPNG MELON!!" The dad absolutely creased up laughing (he did later join us all in a rousing chorus of "2-0, and you fucked it up" though).

Weren't we 3-1 down at Notts County in a 3rd Round FA Cup replay in 1999 with about 10 minutes to go and won 4-3?

Our end started to empty pretty rapidly just before full time then, two quick goals, and it just as rapidly filled back up again.
...... did Wayne Quinn get sent off too ?

Not a big comeback, but I remember us winning 2-1 at Northampton in Division 4 after being a goal down with 5 minutes left. I was listening to it on the radio and it sounded like we were playing awful but then Mike Trusson scored twice in the last 5 minutes.

This was a time when games weren't aired live and they just went back for reports every 10 or 15 minutes.... so it was like, let's return to the County Ground where the Blades were losing 1-0 the last time we were there.... cue me jumping up and down in our dining room when the excited reporter said we'd won!

We came from 3-0 down to draw at Wigan in that miserable Adkins season. I’ve blocked pretty much all that era out my mind but do remember that game.

Think they won the league that season too which made it even more of a strange result.
