So weird, all the bar staff in the ground are wearing last seasons home shirt.

I have some concerns about this ref, but cannot remember exactly what.
When did we last have him at BL ?

the 2-1 defeat to West Brom 2018/19. Can't remember him but OK according to Deadbat 's report

Referee – Jeremy Simpson. Fine. One booking, Egan which was right and stupid (handball) but maybe instinctive as it went over him. Not many bad tackles all game and cannot recall him getting too much wrong. Had to give decisions when both assistants did not help him – Duffy foul for instance.

Showing the benefit of having a strong academy and getting kids out on loan. If Lopata is needed hes played plenty of games for southend so will be as match fit physically and mentally as he can be without having played first team for us.

First time watching on a firestick on the EFL page. What awful commentary. Can't pronounce any of our players' names and starts screaming every time cov get the ball in our third.

Is it always this bad?

He does get very excited, even when there doesn't seem that much danger

Kevin gage thinks Djokovic is playing up front for Coventry

We really haven't settled down yet, the pressing game isnt working as it did against Middlesbrough

Does anyone know the dimensions of Coventry ground.. has to be one of the narrowest in this league surely.

Also doesn't help this pitch is like playing on concrete, the bounce of the ball is so unnatural.

We have no focal point up front and it doesn’t help that we just lump it up to bill & MGW the ball just comes straight back

Why is he playing a flat 3 get MGW/Berge together on the ball as much as possible

You would think Hecky would have learnt from previous away games

We’ve really struggled to get a grip on the game first half. MGW needs to hold it up better, midfield and losing every second ball and for some reason if you punt it long ball against our defence we can’t deal with it today

Below par first half, I’m sure we will improve the 2nd half, we have to.
