Il always remember this because it was in my youth, couldn't afford all games so used to go for last 20 mins, that's what I did this game, he came on quite late and my mate said, why the foook has he brought him on for?The Andy Kennedy one springs to mind for me too. I was stood on the Kop and well remember him running with the ball from halfway before - unlike MGW when he was through on Tuesday night and Ndiaye on a couple of occasions recently - burying the ball in the top corner giving the Keeper no chance.

It was a brilliant goal but I always remember the game as being one we should have won, and which revealed the frailties that would see us start sliding down the table and Porterfield sacked.
We’d won 5 on the bounce going into this game and even though we’d go and thump league leaders Portsmouth at their place the following week, that Blackburn fixture felt like a momentum-stopper. It all went downhill after the Portsmouth game.

Nathan Thomas with this one about 5 years ago:
I'm sure Luton Shelton (RIP) scored a fantastic solo goal away at Colchester the year after we were relegated back to the Championship but can't find any highlights of it.
