Fair dinkum I suppose & nice bit of love for Billy.
Think a point each was about fair. We were far from our best & seems they reckon that was one of the better away performances.

Can't deny they dominated but can only remember a few shots on target. That’s if you count the penalty as a shot!

The comment that they'd have won it easily without MGW is accurate to me.

We're incredibly reliant on him to get us up the field and unlock defences. I'm flabbergasted when our fans criticise his touch and ball retention.
He's our best player by a mile, always working, probing, showing ambition and invariably creating or scoring goals.

If he stays fit, we have a chance. It he gets injured for a lengthy spell I think it's over for us. That's how important he is to the team.

*Having said all of the above, they're reliant on loanees almost entirely: Spence, Lowe, Garner, K. Davis... it's only Johnson that is theirs that I would take in a heartbeat over any of ours.

Without all of the injuries we have: O'Connell, Basham, Goode, Baldock, Hourihane, McGoldrick and Brewster we'd have blasted them and most others in the division.
We're completely down to the bones at this point and it's perhaps starting to show in the performances and results.

Tbh I thought MGW was poor except for the cross for Billy’s goal. But overall this season he’s been good and helped us yeah.

He’s always ready to receive the ball and if somthing does’nt come off he doesn’t hide he just tries again and again to make stuff happen and invariably
creates some magic.Great footballer with great attitude.

Best team since the 80's and 90's and they're 9th in the championship. Just shows how incredibly shit/irrelevant they've been for the last 20+ years.

Long may it continue

Surprised by that comment. The side we beat back in 2003 was very strong, at least on paper.
Dawson and Walker at the back, Andy Reid in midfield, David Johnson, Marlon Hardwood and Darren Huckerby up front. I can't remember everybody else, but they were a strong side..

I was going to say that team was a lot better than Friday nights. Even teams of the mid 90s had players like stone, Pearce, Cooper, Collymore. They finished 3rd in 94 in the Premier league and that team on Friday is better?!?!

Weird bunch

They were the better side overall but usual arrogant, self entitled cuntish comments from a loathesome set of wankers with an awful accent.
If they had huckerby, harewood and Johnson in the side, they would have beaten us comfortably so they also don’t appear to know their arses from their elbows.

They were the better side on the day & at least came to have a go unlike most this season , but that’s against a patched up Blades team with square pegs in round holes .
Still can’t stand the wankers that support them though ⚔️👍

It was probably one of Forest's best performances of the season, and they were easily the best team to show up at the Lane so far, but our passing was awful 1st half and our suicidal passing out from the back was most un-Bladeslike. I can't understand why we kept doing it!
Considering all our missing key players we have to be happy with a point but we still should have won based on the chances we had. The ref's decision to gift them a pen was cretinous to say the least. His failure to give even a foul for blatant shove in the back 1st half could have been a red card too. Shite ref.

Cheers Panchero!

Listen here you deluded wankers:

Brian Clough has been dead for going on 20 years. The chances of you ever winning European silverware again are about as remote as Emma Raducanu doing a sex tape, yet alone your chances of returning to the top flight.

Realise that it's 2022 and not 1982 and you might start making some progress, but until then realise Brennan Johnson is no Nigel Clough. I don't think either Nigel or his dad missed pens at the Lane either unlike both Brennan and David. Two generations of bottlers.

And your away kit looks like it was designed by a blind 2 year old on spice with a box of neon highlighters. Haven't been that offended by kit design since we played Notts County on opening day a few years back. You might consider Derby your rivals, but just admit Notts County are your nearest and dearest.

Cheers Roy, twenty-third!

Obviously a bit of Billy envy but the Scabs seem to be in their happy place.

Well done for the last minute point against a patched up team.

The one thing that is killing us at the moment is the 2 lots of £20m either on the pitch or bench. The oppo fans only see the big fees for those 2 and ignore the lack of options we’ve got elsewhere.

Thanks Roy.

They are a decent side but then again they made nothing of the various chances we put on a plate for them in the first half. With our strongest side out I would back us to come out on top still.

And they are still scabby bastards.

Cheers Roy 🙂👍
Sheff U handed us possession in dangerous areas at least half a dozen times in the first half. Sums it up perfectly.

Yes, this is the key point. We can't get the ball from the defenders to the midfielders in space, which meant that we had to go long to Sharp, or give the ball away when passing from defence. Forest were very average: they looked shot shy and failed to capitalise from the many good situations we handed to them. People are overating them purely because we were poor and couldn't give the ball to Sharp, MGW and Berge due to our ineptitude.
There are solutions to the above problem by the way: play Berge as a deep lying midfielder: he is more press resistant and can take the pressure off the defenders ball playing qualities as he will essentially assume this role (it's a shame we can't clone him. Play a tall athletic striker: this should result in us having an out ball so we can miss out the press if we want (see second half). It also means an opposition high line will either have to back off or assume more risk. If they move their defensive line deeper our defenders will naturally get more time to pass the ball out. It's not true that MGW is the only player that can move the ball forward in our squad: we have Berge, Basham, Brewster, MGW, Ndiaye and the wing backs (particularly Bogle and Osborn). Ben Davies is also a good vertical passer (with his left foot) . Norward can do this with his range of passing. Going forward, if Bash is out I would go with the Brentfodr lad in the middle (when he's over his suspension), Egan right side and Davies left side. Very harsh on Robinson, but I want Berge on the right and Davies passing qualities.

Forest were the best side to come to BDTBL this season so far, but benefitted from one of the worst referees for years ..... he should be refereeing in the Premiership he's so crap.
Gave them a penalty for a blatant dive (bad luck ref ... Wes saved it) and got virtually nothing right all evening, even ignoring his linesmen when they got a decision correct.
Compounded by the fact that we had players playing out of position, Norwood was garbage (except for 1 brilliant pass in 2nd half), Egan was like a schoolboy, and why in the name of god didn't we have anyone on the back post for the corner in the 95th minute 😲 😲 o_O 🙈
