Did Gus play a more central role? McCallum was getting forward and Brooks roaming all over the pitch
On some of our best plays Gus picked up the ball in our half more centrally.

Love it. We’ve gone from “the worst team I’ve seen this season” to “Easily the best team I’ve seen at this level” in just two weeks. Thank you Piggy ********! You’ve only gone and pressed our on button 😂

I think we may have clicked into gear sooner had we got a result at Hull even if it was just a draw.

I'm really not happy with either the pre match or the post match View From Stoke City fans.

They're far too pleasant. Complimentary, even.

This just doesn't sit right with me. They were feeble in their pre match views and congratulatory in their post match.

I'm a traditionalist, I prefer the saltiness of a post match and the arogance of a pre match, these had neither. I couldn't imagine Port Vale ever stooping to these levels of pleasantry, so why do Stoke City have to think they're above the usual blind views where you question if they even watched the game.

Yesterday we physically bullied them. McGuinness was so strong in the air off Hamers corners. He could've had 4 himself, he was imperious. Where was the abundance of cliched physical comments. I think there was one.

Where was the saltiness towards Wilder for drinking nonchalently from his water bottle after each goal. Standing there like Napoleon in his winter attire.

The game has gone when the view from is nothing more than an agreeable and knowledgable reflection on the actual opposition that they are playing. I read both views as thinking that they've actually seen us play. Its a disgrace. They appear to have both watched the game and know how were playing recently. Not a single cliche. Not even a dig about Wednesday being better.

Polite and pleasant has to go. If Norwich pre match doesn't mention kidney punches to women, kids, pensioners and wheelchair users i'll be inclined to lose my shit.

To be honest the game was so one sided…..there’s no crumb of comfort for Stoke fans.
Even the most biased/ one eyed Stokie couldn’t put up any arguement that they were unlucky or could have gained a draw.

Thought they were pretty shocking and looked a division below us.

Anyone noticing a pattern last 4 games?
The other week Sheff Wed were shockingly bad….one of the most one sided derbies ever…didn’t show any effort to score.
Once Portsmouth had a man sent off Portsmouth were shockingly bad and didn’t show any effort to try and score.
Last week in the 1st half Leicester were shockingly bad and hardly got in our half….they showed zero effort to score 1st half.
Yesterday thought Stoke were really really poor and their effort levels seemed poor as though they were demoralised.

We’ve had good players all season but we’re NOW functioning as a team.
Wilder seems to have found the right system to play to the players strengths,

Our midfield was non functioning in early season and Peck looked lost.
Now it’s running like a machine and Peck is playing with so much confidence about the players around him.

Often think a well functioning football team is like cooking a fancy meal.
The ingredients might look good on paper but sometimes there’s a missing ingredient to make it delicious.

Who’d have thought it? But the underwhelming Jairo and aging Bamford might just be the missing ingredients.
Jairo doesn’t look anything special but he appeared to have intelligence and his defensive positioning is top quality.
Knows where to be and puts his foot in breaking down opposition attacks, he’s also very calm and composed passing easy balls to feet.

Regards Bamford, don’t think he’s particularly that good but he gives us something different.
Reminds me slightly of McGoldrick how he sometimes drops deeper into midfield, holds up the ball, then lays it off to a midfielder. He’s pretty slow but his movement is clever and he’s excellent at s…housery inviting tackles from behind…then falling down when he’s touched winning us free kicks in dangerous areas,

This was a very astute prediction from a Stoke fan on Roy's Pre match .

I would love to be proved wrong but I think Sheffield will score early and then we will chase and conceed again"

I thought they started well , knocked the ball about confidently, the goal knocked them back, the 2 just before the half timebroke them .

It was like watching us under Selles , Stoke lost belief and confidence and went through the motions, possibly what the fan who posted the prediction envisaged.

They're not a bad side but unlike Pewlis's Stoke lack a bit of fight .

We started a number of games really well and got in front in quite a few but didnt have the quality, belief or fitness to see it out.

Could have had at least 10 points or more if we had the squad that we have now.

Genuinely no idea how I've done this

It’s almost as though Roy meks em all up, isn’t it?
Maybe the clue was in the botched posting, the similar grammar, the consistent tone.

Could it be that Roygbiv has finally lost it?
Have rival fans spotted who the lurker is and banned him from their fan sites?

Does he now have to resort to fabrication (it would explain the detailed background knowledge of the Blades team and form)?

Or is there a plot twist?

We all know Beans is a copywriter.
Could it be that the demise of Bladespod has coincided with some extra curricular moonlighting to mimic the views of opposition fans pre and post match? Are Ben’s keystrokes all over this? His fine intellectual, analytical mind posing as a would be Potter or a Pompey Pie Boy?

Will he be singing like a canary this week?

😳

Think that's a bit harsh on Bamford as he's been excellent since he came in
