Roy's View From... Pre-Match View From Forest

I've done this before to show Wednesday's irrelevance in this century, but Forest's average finishing position since being relegated from the top division in 1999 is 15th in the Championship.

They've only managed to finish in the top 10 of this division 6 times in 22 seasons (for 3 of those they were in the 3rd Division, though). This is the measure of their big-clubness.

For a club which now calls itself the world's oldest League club, by default due to the hiatus of its much more amenable neighbour, and because they didn't orginally join the Football League because they wanted to be amateurs, a statement like "You can’t quite believe it’s still around" is a little bit dangerous.

Thanks Roy. Who put 20p in these twats? Like a bunch of overexcited children for their season that isn't as shit as all their other ones. With Steve Cooper and his face that can scare dogs from 50 yards. Every time you see it it just sucks the life and colour out of everything around it. Like a black hole with a pair of ears glued to it.
I hope we batter these fuckers.

I am not sure this policy in Nottinghamshire of allowing inmates at the local asylum internet access is a good thing..

I'm playing footy with 2 of them tonight, one of them the other week said "there's something special happening at Forest". Hang on a minute, you're midtable with an outside chance of the play-offs, get fucked off.

Yet another bunch of fans who wouldn't swap any of their players for ours, even though one of theirs, is ours.

Where have we heard this before

I've said it before on here, I've only known four Forest fans in my life, and all four of them are the vilest most racist and generally horrible people I've ever met.

I know it's only four, but a 100% cunt record is something I've never known before

Went out wi a bird from Mansfield. 80% of the backward tests are forest fans. Horrible scabby bastards who are every bit as deluded as pigs from my experience of boozing over there I think we will beat em comfortable tbh. 2-0

Just incase they have their own view from and someone is searching for content…

The delusions of grandeur amongst this set of simpletons is something else considering they haven’t played top flight football this century. Hate them only a little bit less than the snorters.

Pressure is off us now. So many injuries it should be nigh on impossible for us to keep up with the promotion pack. Have to say they're probably favourites, but would be nice to do them over

Having resided in Nottingham for most of my adult life - MOST of them are pretty reasonable usually, the internet brings out the worst folk for all teams.

That being said, I always did prefer County.

I see they're as arrogant as ever, brill, that's the team talk done, let's smash the scabby b***ards.

Top 5 home wins against these:-

1) Play-offs 4-3 win
2) Fifth round of the Cup 3-1, when Porter scores we'll be on the pitch, on we were
3) Sixteen games without a win in the top tier and we beat the darling's of the press 3-2, and another pitch invasion
4) Gareth Taylor wonder strike (and we don't say that very often) in a 1-0 win in 1997
5) 2-0 Blades in 1977, Edwards 2 (Silent?) when they had a good team, soon to be best team in England and Europe, still lost at the Lane

Didn’t the end to the sixteen game winless run come against Villa away? I’m almost sure it did because I was there.

Lost at Anfield the week before, game 16, then beat Forest at the Lane the Saturday before Christmas.

I think we lost 2-1 at Villa two or three weeks before, I think the hod-carrier had given us a 1-0 lead but we still lost
