Mcburnie always has this knock on effect to the whole of our attack. Today was actually one of his better games as well which is pretty scary.

Sharp had an absolutely rancid game but we all know how important he’ll be going forward.

In the three years since we signed McB, I can’t remember even one 5 minute spell where you thought ‘quick, get it to Mcburnie’.

Not a good penalty box striker, not fast, can’t shoot from outside the box and can’t take a man on. In terms of skill and dynamism he’s such an anemic and impotent excuse for a supposed striker.

3 changes in the key positions is too many. Can't really go around changing midfields wholesale, but with the exertions and schedule it's going to happen.

Your analogy is really poor Weston- what you actually mean is you would rather have a team full of grafters than prima donnas.

We paid 20 million for this dope and what we have got is indeed a 'trier'. Well sorry to break it to you- this is the worst ever business the Blades have ever entered into, for 20 million it's just not enough- he's a rubbish pub footballer who runs his socks off albeit very slowly - the only reason they are playing him is because he cost so much money.

If he had come through the ranks - he wouldn't be playing football at all- he'd be loading planes to make sure they fly safely.

Totally agree with this. But with hindsight seems a really bonkers thing to do.

On paper this team looked

Weaker in defence
Weaker in midfield
Weaker in attack

After first half it was obvious it was not just on paper weaker- it was weaker.
