I've seen one before I believe, 4-4 v Birmingham in 95/6 I think in glorious August sunshine. As per today we went 2-0 down. Walker and Taylor then put us 4-2 up and we blew it. Have I missed any? How many in history?

I think I remember a 4-4 match against Barnsley, possibly a cup game - definitely an evening match. We were playing catch-up the whole game.

Edit: my mistake. Upon checking, it was 3-3.

I was at the Birmingham game. Jonathan Hunt scored for them from the spot, and Katchouro came on for his debut, before then being subbed himself. Good times...

That was on 24/8/96. Devlin scored for Birmingham as well. It wasn't Kat's debut. That was the previous Saturday at Reading.

There was also a 4-4 draw at Walsall on 29/11/80. That was were Bob Hatton put us 4-3 up in injury time, only for Walsall to basically walk the ball in from the kick off.

I think you're referring to our 5-4 win over Brighton in 89/90? 3 up, 4-3 down then 2 more to win 5-4. John Francis classic header late on - can see it now from bottom of kop.

Think Bournemouth once did as well, seem to remember being 3 or 4 up and they got back to 4-4 and then we got a winner

I remember bristol scoring 4 here and they still lost

Games against both Bristol City and Bristol Rovers have occasionally been high-scoring matches, often one side scoring 4 (or more) goals but neither has scored 4 against us and lost.
