First 10 or 15 minutes were pretty good without troubling the goals, but its failed off since then, the midfield isnt showing much really, whether its fleck and/or berge to come off second half to give it a little purpose. I think ndiaye and rnd have been standouts in that half

Thought we played pretty well on the whole.
Same old problems though. Delivery into the box and the final ball is just dreadful.
RND better but him and bogle are awful with the ball in the danger area. No better than Stevens or Baldock in that respect.
Berge. What a fucking coward. He just refuses to drive with the ball and open the opposition up.
Need the first goal badly. Birmingham are just fucking limited rubbish.
Better second half in the final third and we win this game!

Norwood and Fleck in midfield doesn't work anymore. But we've known that for a long time. There was no need to change the Norwood-Hourihane pairing. They play well together.

Bit of a scrappy nothing first half. We started better but it ended fairly equal.

Ndiaye looks tricky but runs in circles. The midfield has been poor. Berge started well but getting worse. Needs to back himself and have a go. Norwood's radar is well off and Fleck totally off the pace.

Both teams look a bit iffy at the back and a mistake might be the difference.

Our passing and crossing has been dire. RND, Bogle and Berge all terrible.

As for the penalty, probably was. Looked a cert in real time, less so on replay. He ran across Ndiaye's line and caught him slightly but you could argue he was tripping up anyway. Could argue obstruction and an indirect free kick (if they still exist?!) I can see why a ref might not give it, although Stroud has been pretty rubbish both ways.

I can see why Fleck and Berge have been thrown in. We need to get them match fit for these run of games We might regret chucking them both on as they'll tire second half.

Obvious their playing on the break or to score via a set play/long throw. Feel like we have an extra gear, I’d get Hourihane on Fleck’s lost his edge Berge shows glimpses but underwhelming again also Bogla having a off game so far but hope we have a good 2nd half c’mon .

Overall no lack of effort and we have been dominant with out really threatening. Birmingham are limited but up for the game and are getting away with pulling and dragging. The problem we have is that we are continually moving the ball out wide and not looking to create anything through the centre. We are being to predictable and too easy to defend against. Unless we get forward from midfield more centrally we won't open them up. We need to be more intelligent in how we play.

Berge takes 10 minutes to make a pass to bogle. Often after strolling across the park and standing right next to him to make a 6 inch pass.

If I was Bogle I would be blasting Berge in the changing room.

Berge's tempo is slowing everything down. He's playing like an holding / defensive midfielder, whilst in advanced positions on the pitch..... The midfield as a whole looks out of sync, with contrasting styles of play. Not one of the look like they want to take the bull by the horn and get in advance positions....

Maybe those three just don't work together??

Need to take one of Berge or Fleck off.... whether that means bringing another striker on and dropping Ndiaye in behind or McGoldrick behind?? But the three midfielders are too compact, with nobody making the advanced runs... we just make the middle of the park too congested and aren't getting the pockets in behind. We look static, lack threat and lack numbers in advanced positions on the pitch again!

The introduction of two midfielders, for me.....wasn't the right idea.
