Is MGW back in the building? With Wolves getting rid of Traore to Barcelona, you have to wonder if they’ve got plans for Morgan stepping up.
the JTW is shut so i assume he is coming back once recovered, he is in training next week apparently

We still need better midfielders…only been saying it for two years 🤷‍♂️
if berge stepped up we’d only be 1 player off, bare in mind Norwood is a capable champ midfielder though… wouldnt ever want to see him in the PL again, same goes for Fleck

Don't think it has been a bad transfer window myself we have made a start on clearing out some of the crap and made a significant cut to the wage bill while bringing in decent options for keeper and centre back. Shame we couldn't have moved a couple more on Stevens and Freeman spring to mind as they are not going to get any better. Glad we still have Sander Berge I still think alongside MGW and Ndiaye he could be part of a very good midfield for this level.

Im hoping that it's confirmed that Freeman has buggered off to Millwall, later today. Another wedge of cash saved if he has.

I'd love to see Norwood and Fleck back in the PL as it could only mean one thing 😜

That Bournemouth signed them last night, at the same time as they signed 600 other players? Bournemouth's sneaky plan is to buy every single player in English football so that they are bound to win every game and get promoted. Very clever indeed.

Exciting to see the squad shape up in the next few weeks once Goode and Jebbison are up to speed and MGW is back from injury…. Not expecting too much from Jebbo, but it’s great having so many young players with potential in the attacking dept, plus Bogle is looking great

UTB ⚔️
Agree it's great to see Ndiye and Bogle play. Young, skilful, playing exciting attacking football. Capable of taking the ball through defenders.

How we were crying out for that last season, instead being fed slow, risk averse football - keep the ball, pass it sideways, pass it backwards. End with a crap cross that doesn't get past the first defender.

We've also strengthed at the back so no more weakly giving up the game in the last 10 mins.

Not just a stronger squad, but better to watch. We are going to enjoy the second half of this season!

Yep great plan if they buy every player the rest can't.
You know what at times I hate football, when well supported clubs struggle to make ends meet and little tin pot clubs who can't raise much more than 10k fans progress due to some billionaire backer then you know something is wrong with the game.

Looking even better this morning with the news that Guedioura has left the club 👌

Goode isn't letting anything through him PERIOD! He isn't letting strikers have free headers from free kicks, long throws or corners. He isn't going to be bullied . He will create a fair bit of havoc in opposition penalty areas either through his presence or long through. He isn't up his own arse like Jackie long throw who pretends to be a ball playing centre back. He can carry the ball out of defence and won't be knocked off the ball. He does have the eye for a pass but is a good enough footballer to know when to turn it over to the midfield. He is vocal and a leader He has had to graft as a footballer to get a career. He prefers playing to sitting on the bench A Goode signing on loan Even better if we can get him permanent
Wow ! Are you his agent or is he really good at everything !

We have been playing Brewster and ndiaye mcgoldrick hasn't been figuring
When MGW is back it'll be a very young attack with Jebbison as an alternative

What do you mean McGoldrick hasn't been figuring? He has either started or come off the bench in 9 of the last 10 games, only missing 1 due to Covid...and they key word in my post was "striker" not attacker.

not playing full 90 s which will carry on
but Hecky is moving towards an all young front line

think it will be sharp and mcgoldricks last season

Definitely McG and depends what Billy wants I suppose, he could carry on for a few years yet if he's happy playing L1/L2 level, would like to see him in some sort of player/coach role with the odd cameo off the bench.

If either are regular starters next season something has gone very wrong...

You could've said in 2018/19 as we got promoted that if they were still our front 2 in 21/22 after 2 years in the Premier league something has gone very wrong

A left footed player would of course be better but how about Bogle at LWB when Baldock is fully fit again?
He’s played there for us before.

As most of you know I am no clapper but in all reality I don't see how we could have done better this window.
Olsen , Verrips , Guediora , Burke , Freeman , MooseFat out.
GK Davies , Goode , Jebbo in.
MGW , Ndiaye retained
We couldn't let McKnob go due to Brewster's injury.
We've strengthened the spine + cleared some spineless ones out.
Hecky has done well here , there's no doubt.
Just need CB Davies , MGW & Brewster back fit + I reckon the mood will pick up quite well.
No idea about winning games + getting into POs , but my swingometer is on the turn , back to some positivity towards a more balanced squad and a manager who's following the hopes & fears of most on here with regard to which players to ship out + which to retain.

We will be there or thereabouts for the play offs come end of the season.

cherry on the cake would’ve been Coulibaly returning to bolster the midfield options, but yep pretty much a 10/10 window

I suppose the advantage with the loans is that part if not all of the wage bill is covered but if we find ourselves in a desperate situation not sure if there is some recall option available.

Pretty sure you can only exercise recall options in January of a season long loan. And junior one month loans. I don’t think 6 month loans carry that option
