Is Simonsen the worst Goalie since Derek Richardson?

Conroy went through a very good patch, broke his arm and was never the same again. I also would rank Waugh a little higher, but can't argue with the top 4.

I can't say for certain Simmo is the worst keeper, but he's certainly done more damage than any other I can think of. If we weren't relegated and skint, there's surely no way he'd still be in the team and still dropping his bombs.

We've been treated with top goalies at the Lane in recent times, so Simonsen is somewhat of a shock. He's light yeas behind Kelly/Tracey/Kenny in my time watching United.

Dean Shiels at Donny only has one eye too.

Leaving aside all outside allegations, he was pretty good when he played for United and I am judging only on how they played for United!

Derek Richardson would be the worst, Darren has that right! If the infamous Mr Baxter had made a few more appearances he'd have challenged him for bottom spot.

As for the rest, you juggle around a few of them for me. I'd have Budgie above Segers and Conroy a little higher because as others have said, prior to the arm injury he was playing pretty well. You could toss a coin to decide between Simmo and Leaning, though both would drop it!

3 actually. 2 horrendous mistakes and one a pen. It was 2-3 at half time and thats how it stayed.

Believe me, he kin well wasn't!
As for the 'one eye' issue, he certainly had a problem with one of his eyes and initially failed his medical before signing for us. I was told, from inside the club, that happy H and Tommy Doc, (then the QPR manager) came to an 'arrangement to make sure the deal went through after a second independent medical.
Richardson was awful, he had all the attributes, big, well built and athletic, but his eyesight appeared to be somewhat flawed!

McCalister was a fine keeper, once saw him save 2 penalties at Derby, we still lost though. He wasnt the same after he broke his leg. Was it Summerbee or the little fat b*****d Franny Lee that did it I think it was Lee but not too sure
